I am shocked there is not a more active discussion on this, maybe I am the only one who had money stuck in EMO?

This website does a pretty good job updating the progress:
http://emoreceiver.fticonsulting.net/index...ge&Itemid=1

CURRENT STATUS:
From what I can tell, a third party agreed to buy EMO and take on some of their liabilities. We should know that status of this potential purchase any day now.

WHEN WILL WE GET OUR MONEY?

I would imagine we should get paid "some" of our money back within the next 3-6 months but who knows.

HOW MUCH WILL I GET PAID?
This is just my guess, but, it looks like EMO will have aprox. $1.5M to left to pay out account holders. I got this number by subtracting their liabilities and potential legal/receiver fees from their current assets.

Since account holders are owed about $5M, my guess is that we should get back 30% of our original account, or, 30 cents on the dollar.

Note: this is just a wild guess but I bet it will be between 20-40% of our original amount.

Hang in there.......

I have just opened a new account with Saxo Bank (a non-US broker). I cant seem to figure out how they determine my leveraged buying power. I keep getting "not enough margin" errors when I was only using 70:1 and not the full 100: leverage.

It seems when I trade the GBP/USD, they first convert my account to GBP, then give me 100:1 margin on that amount.

For example: If I had a $1,000 USD account, I would only be able to open a trade that is $51,000 since my $1000 is converted to GBP ($510) and then I get 100:1 margin on that.

For US brokers I would have access to $100,000 buying power using the full 100:1 leverage. (I think).

Can anyone confirm this is how it works with non-US brokers or does US brokers do this too?

Thanks!

What is Forex Master Maker? Live on the News LOTN? RSS Rapid Signaling Software?

Forex Master Maker (also known as Live on the News) is a chat room, signal service, and automatic trade execution (autoclicker) program bundled into one. This service is very similar to the Secret News Weapon and Forex Diamonds chat room run by Felix.

How does it work?
As many of you know, there are dozens of key economic news releases each month, many of these key statistics deviate from an expected number. When this happens, financial markets usually show a spike in the direction of the deviation. For example, if you are watching a forex chart of the US dollar and the employment reports comes out good for the dollar, you will see immediate strength in the dollar and a spike in your chart.

How can you make money using this service?
The Forex Master Maker service broadcasts the deviation from an expected value as soon as it is released. They have a rapid signaling software (RSS) program that will automatically click the "buy" or "sell" button on your trading platform (it works with all broker platforms) allowing you to enter a position before the spike and make a profit in very fast.

Advantages of RSS software:
-FAST. This software will get you into a trade before a spike 99% of the time (provided your broker fills you)

-Allows for single click, double click, and triple click execution (important if you have to click more then once to open a trade)

-Allows you to trade with multiple trading platforms at the same time. Perfect if you have two brokerage accounts you want to trade.

-Shows multiple news reports at the same time. This really helps if there are conflicting reports coming out at the same time. You can quickly see if they conflict and even use the autoclick program to exit or hedge your position.

-Shows a visual and AUDIO warning if revisions come out. This is key for big reports such as NFP.

This was my first week trading this service in real time. I use both the Secret News Weapon and this at the same time. They both have equal speed for the US reports. The RSS software discussed here is more advanced and will show you conflicting reports plus revisions.

For example, when I traded the ISM news release this week, I got in before the spike, the price shot up 20-25 pips, the RSS showed a conflict in a smaller report that came out so I exited at +23 pips before the price shot down.

Only made about 35 pips total news trading this week so its been pretty slow.

I have been doing fairly well trading the spike during major news releases. The problem is that the newsfeed is very expensive.

I am thinking about gathering a small group (under 10) people who want to trade the spike with me in a live chat room or through a telephone conference. Basically, I would call out audio BUY or SELL signals based on the NFP news data as it is released.

I am thinking a price around $25 per person per news release (or $75 per month for all four of the big news releases).

Send me a PM if you are interested AND if you have over 10 posts and have been a member of MMG for more then 3 months.

I will respond to PMs every morning EST.

Thanks
UJ

PS. This chat room would only be used to call trades based on the news release. We would NOT teach people how to trade so please have at least 6 months of forex experience.
