Is AlertPay something like EG, EBullion and etc? Do they allow chargebacks? I mean after you transfer funds to another person, is it something like EG where after you transfer it's final and there's no more arguement over it or do they allow it to be disputed like PayPal?
I am wondering this for quite some time already but never did get to asking it.
I wanna be sure that it's a Get Paid, Stay Paid e-currency before I start saying OK to people who wants to trade this e-currency to me.
Anyone knows?

They allow chargebacks but also have a special account for merchants called "secured account"
In their own words:
QUOTE
SECURED ACCOUNT: (FREE TO OPEN - Receive Fee: 3.9% + $0.59 per transaction)
Do you require an account without any business restrictions? Do you need an account with chargeback prevention? This account accepts multi-level marketing, mature content and other commonly considered "risky" businesses.

Yes, and chargeback conditions should be set in payment.

Looks as if the key word in the "Secured Account" quote is prevention. Prevention doesn't mean chargebacks are not allowed.

You seem right but why don't they prevent chargebacks on ALL accounts if indeed they can prevent it?

Hello Shags12
The only time AlertPay would ever reverse a transaction to its origin, is if the service or product has not been promised to them according to the merchants terms and services or if the transaction was fraudulent.
The principle of reversing funds is conducted on a case by case issue with our security department where we encourage both the merchant and buyer to come to an agreement. If both parties fail to come to an agreement, AlertPay ask both the merchant and the buyer to provide information of the transaction. AlertPay does not base its decision on favoritism, it is only based on the fact on whether the service or product has been provided according to the terms or not.
Therefore it is highly advised that when you shop, you read carefully the terms and services of any business you deal with to ensure a solid transaction to be made.
