They are really scam ! I have trusted them but they have stolen my money !

It has to do with Money Transmitter Licenses.
There are so many rules with it.
Countries and states have different rules thanks to PayPal's massive blunder back in 98 or was it 99...

But the guy from Alertpay seems to have signed up here so he should be able to answer the queries.

The fact of the matter is they do not have the necessary licenses in place to do business as a money transmitter. I have confirmed this with my state.

Now before anyone questions location, that is of little consequence. If they do business with consumers that live in the states, they must have licenses to do so.

From my inquiring about location:

Answer: Yes licensure is necessary if the company intends to do business with WA consumers.


Check with your own state/country. If I'm remembering correctly from the stompay fiasco, I want to say that licenses are also necessary for the UK.

A foreign exchange service is not required to abide by state laws. If a monetary currency exchanger is based in the USA they are required to register in all 50 states including Puerto Rico. Exchangers that fall outside USA jurisdiction are not required by US law. Egold only maintains an office in the USA and is not licensed in all 50 states. Please check your facts. Are you stating that since Alertpay is not registered in all 50 states that Egold is exempt from these same laws you think you know? I am an attorney & know currency exchange laws. Yes Stormpay was a USA based company which did require license for all 50 states & Puerto Rico.

I am passing on what I was told by my states' Dept. of Financial Institutions in that licensure is necessary if they intend to do business with consumers living there. I asked specifically about location, giving them Alerpays' address, and was told it didn't matter.

Egold is an ecurrency, and my understanding is they are exempt for that reason. The only way to get money in/out is through an exchanger (one of which was recently shut down for not having necessary licenses).

You bring up Stormpay, and they only held a license in TN.

Instead of telling me to check my facts, why not point me in the right direction? I have no problem admitting I'm wrong if in fact I am. It's interesting that you are saying the complete opposite of what was relayed to me when making this inquiry with my state.

O this is the same person on the talkgold forum speading rumours and getting banned. Provide proof. You sound like the admin of goldentimesurf trying to scam people and pissed that AlertPay shut you down before getting away with it.

I am currently having a problem but I must say that Support has been great. At least I am able to get someone on the phone quickly (Just don't call on Monday morning) and my emails are answered generally within 24 hours or less. This is more than I can say with many other companies, some who never even respond to emails. Hopefully, my issue will be resolved soon and then I will be able to give them a glowing review.

I Think alertpay is not bad and it have a professional script (i like it, easily to use after e-gold) but it have problem in exchange! becuase they are not any exchanger service that accepted alertpay.

I told many people I will never use Alertpay ! It was scam from the beginning paid hundred and thousands in ads ... but I was sure their mission is to scam. They saw Stormpay and they have decided to create scam PP. This is alertpay.

I can tell you that AlertPay is not a scam. If a few people who try to scam other's get stopped by AlertPay, then they are the ones who scream scam. There is no evidence that shows AP is doing anything bad. Everyone is just loyal to the system they are using and use dirty tactics to hurt AP's reputation.

So I would suggest that anyone who wants to say anything bad, post evidence to back it up as well. If you have none, then dont bother wasting your time.

Alertpay doesn't transfer my $ to e-gold recently writing they had technical issues. Some1 knows how to get out $ from AP without using checks ( which is not worth from outside US ) ?

Interesting as AlertPay is one of the most popular processor out there. Never had a problem with them and I have been with them since February 2006. And what makes you think its a scam? where are you proof? none, none, none, none and..... none. Show proof they are scam then talk.

I don't understand why you say this? I have been an AlertPay member for a long time, and i have never had any issues like this. If anything, AlertPay freezes the accounts of the scam Admins!. I got myself into a whole mess with that no good NeXxSurf, and AlertPay was able to refund me a portion of my investment. Look what just happened with 13Dailypro, AP was able to refund members. Why would a scam PP give back money!? That's why I always use AP over E-gold anyways, what kind of help can E-Gold offer!? if your complaining because they put a lock on a scam program, in trying to help us the real clients, then uv'e gone mad!

I am glad I read this. I was thinking of adding Alertpay. They look like another Stormpay. I lost thousands with them. They created phony chargebacks and cancelled all my recurring billing without notice. Terrible company.

I think you are a scam. Easy for people like you to go flooding threads with false accusations with no show of proof. AlertPay hasnt stolen funds, and in fact has helped recover money and paid it back.

I think AlertPay is doing good so far. The support is great as well. I once make long distance call and they guide me very well until now. The problem only so far that AP most benefit US and Canadian. But in their latest news, they are coming to my country which is Malaysia. so I guess by then it will be much more easier to withdraw and funding account. Currently the easier method to withdraw is by egold which they always process the request amount without delay.

I would like to see the proof, I just signed up with them I thought they were good. I cannot afford to lose my money! BTW HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET THAT 950 A DAY?
