1. Credit Cards: AsianPay (SINGAPORE) Pte. Lt. Incorporation has been completed and we are depositing the paid-up capital. In the meanwhile we have completed the process to submit full documentation to Citibank in Singapore to complete our merchant application and we have applied for th Corporate Bank account with them. (It will be officialized in the beginning of the next week). I'm just back from Singapore and we expect to receive the final agreement for the sign and the technical documentation to integrate our system with Citibank gateway services within the next week.
Citibank is starting a fully new integration system and they will not allow new merchants to start before August 15th. We need anyway at least on week to complete and verify all the technical aspects of the Integration.
Accordingly to the above, we plan to restart Credit Cards Operations between August 20th and August 30th. I will be able to announce the final date later next week. In the beginning we will accept only Visa and Mastercard, but within the end of September also AMEX services will be restarted.
Our Singapore offices will open on September 1st, and we will publish in time address and all the related information following our commitment to high transparence. I can anticipate, for those who know Singapore or live there, that our offices will be located at The Prudential Tower.
2. Asianpay Debit cards:
Asianpay Payments will have it's own Brand name Debit Card. We have joind the well known Canadian provider: Card One Plus ( http://cardoneplus.com ) and they are processing our application doing their own due diligence and all the Credit and Criminal records check. The last information we had is that everything should be almost ready in the next week. Printing of the Crads will need some more time. We have pre-ordered 5,000 cards, wee have already paid 50% of the total amount as established by our agreement with them, and we plan to start the pre-sale of Asianpay debit cards from August 25th for first delivery end of September. More information will be published at our web site and here also as soon as will be available.

Also, would you please give us a hint as to what the fee will be to fund our accounts from a credit card?

Yes, I did remeber funding my AP account with my CC. However, you have to bear in mind that this matter is not as easy as it seems. " I want to fund my account with my CC" .. "ok..here you go" .. it is not that simple. This matter is not within Asianpay's hand. A third party, in this case Citibank control the issue. If they say you can't use the credit card to fund AP account, what can you do?
The way I think, it is good enough if we can CC to purchase egold ( maybe ) . Probably that is only for now. Maybe in the near future, Citibank would allow us to do so.
Anyway, I know Asianpay crews are working really hard to give us the best service. Don't you tell me this is not true. Tell me once if there any of your request have been delayed. I can guarantee you would say none. Just because of this matter you are saying they are liar. Think twice and consider others condition. Be patient like others would too and wish for the best.

Look, I like AsianPay. I have supported them and think that they offer great customer support.
But I need a payment processor that will allow me to fund my account with a credit card. AP offered this before and they are the ones that promised that it would be reinstated. And yes, it is this credit card funding that we are all waiting for.
When they announced that credit cards would be implemented again, no one mentioned that it was *not available* for account funding. If they did then I, and alot of others, sure missed it.
I did not call AsianPay a liar. RollinHigh said this:

You can buy egold with credit card.
In fact you can buy for any services or goods.
Now before you buy egold you have to top up in your asianpay balance account.
Once its verified(this is to ensure full safety of customers and of course to make sure there are no chargebacks),you then proceed to buy egold or ebullion or any other available service.
Remember we are not buying egold or ebullion directly and you cannot anyways.
Basically there are 2 steps.
1.Fund asianpay account with creditcard.
2.Then proceed to buy gold with your asianpay balance that just got funded with your creditcard.

If I am not mistaken,I think Rollinhigh meant that you cannot just fund your account with credit card and later withdraw to your bank account. This will be in conflict with the anti-money laundering laws or whatsoever.
The whole point is you use credit cards for goods or services.

I do think that this is an "English" problem!
Before, when we could use credit cards, AsianPay would call it "topping off" our accounts. From there we could send the money to e-gold or to someone else's AsianPay account. (No payment processors allow funds gathered from credit cards to be inserted back into a bank account.)
When I sent in my ticket asking about this, Corrado said that no one will be able to "top off" their account with a credit card any longer and you said that we were never allowed to do that before. THAT's where the confusion came in.

English is not my mother language either, but I’ll try..
as far as I know, cc companies really don't like if their members use their cards to "buy" e-currencies or in other words "borrow" money from them to put as a currency not be backed from anything (e-gold is backed by gold bullion, but AP balance, if I'm not mistaken, is not backed by anything). They’re afraid of the bad debt that may follow. cc (as for cc companies want it) is supposed to be used to buy "goods" or "services". Anything else is less than ideal for them.
I guess what we will have in AP in the near future is we will be able to buy e-gold using credit card employing AP service, but we won't be able to top up our AP balance from cc. I don't know what happened before in the past, because, to be frank, I'm pretty new in this area, but if in the past to buy e-gold we need to top up our AP balance first and then follow it by buying e-gold, I don't think it will be the same like that anymore. I guess what will happen is: we will be able to buy e-gold directly using AP service, without the need to top up our AP balance in advance.
Let's see if this will be the outcome, but I thing it would be better for us to wait patiently for a couple of days and try not to speculate too much for what will happen. I'm strongly believe that AP managements are currently working very hard to give us the best service they can (as they always do). Even if they won't come out with the cc solution next month, I'm sure they will keep trying. Business deal is not an easy thing. Especially for the thing this big. So let's wait and see... It won’t be long..

I have a short question about the coming soon debit card. Will it be loadable with egold? Background is that AsianPay no longer allow us to deposit direct from egold to AsianPay account. If i use the exchange service to sell my egold the money goes to my bankaccount (for international transfer fees). If i now like to deposit the money in AsianPay i send it back (for international transfer fees) to AsianPay. It's the same like i push my egold out of the windows. I have signup to AsianPay because i stay nearly every year some weeks in Thailand, and it seems to be the best (cheapest) way to cashout my egold while in vacation.

Dear Friends,
The situation is still in stand-by especially for Credit Cards and regretfully does not depend on us.
DEBIT CARDS
Here the update is quite simple:
1. We have paid US$ 12,000 to XXXXX as per the 50% of the contract to get the first 5,000 AsianPay Branded Debit Cards.
2. We have sent all the documents they requested for Credit records and Criminal check
3. They ran the Criminal check first with one Company just to discover after one month that this Company was not able to do it.
4. They asked us to authorize them to run again the Criminal Check with a different Company, and this is costing us US$ 1,700 instead of the US$ 300 of the previous Company. We agreed of course because we want the Debit Cards
5. One more month is gone and we have our money sitting there and in the last email from XXXXXX seems that everything will be completed and the end of this week... we hope
That's the full story. I will update you as soon as they will update us.
I copy below the last 4 emails (including my answers) from XXXXXX, sales manager at XXXXX as proof of what I say
the post above is a post to the shareholders of asianpay, I had to remove the names of certain people and the companys as they have not authorized us to use their branded name yet.

Mr Sorio and the team have to make a very big decision to abide to the law imposed by Singaporean gov. The case is quite complex. It is a prove that Asianpay want to stay on the right track the best as possible and they never failed to do so.
Regarding the CC,as I said above, the case is quite complex. They ( the bank) gave us the hope and then they took back from us. So now we will have to wait some more for them to give a final decision. Guess what, the bank is still on discussion.
I'm also a member like all of you. I certainly can assure you that this company is undoubtly is the most legit company besides Paypal ( in payment processor business field ) and you don't have to worry about your money with them. This is my personal opinion.

sorry im new here and really blur about asianpay after reading all the posts and the website is full of words..not really user friendly lol @_@
is this how its gonna work? (Assuming debit card is ready)
To buy EGold 1)Transfer $ to AP account from singapore bank 2)Buy EGold from AP Account
To withdraw EGold 1)Spend from EGold website to AP EGold account? 2)Fund AP Debit card from amount received in AP account 3)AP Debit card is able to withdraw funds from any ATM in the world?
What is the waiting time for the amount of money to: 1)appear in AP account if i transfer money from singapore bank? 2)appear in EGold account if i buy EGold from AP account? 1)appear in AP account if i withdraw from EGold account? 2)be funded into the debit card?
What are the rates to convert 1sgd to 1egold and vice versa?
What will be the extra charges for: 1)transferring of money from singapore bank to AP account? (is it free? since AP is registered singapore company) 2)withdrawing money from debit card?
i hope someone will help me, future members will benefit from my questions too. thanks!

It's no longer available to spend funds from egold direct into AsianPay account. You must use the "Exchange Service" and the funds goes into your registered bank account from where you can send it back into your AsianPay account. I hope with the coming soon debit card, they will have a option to load it direct from egold, but i don't know. Shortly i buy egold from AsianPay account, it was processed in one day.
