I am looking for the correct spelling in french for this phrase "it is life"

I think it is "ce la vie" or something like that say la vie...

can someone help me...

Actually i grew up in south louisiana and the speak a cajun french, so thats how I learned most of my french...

history lesson:
Cajuns..
They were run out of canada ( they were knows as the acadians) and the ended up settling in south louisiana. So thanks to them passing "French" on from generation to generation I was able to pick up alot of "cajun french" growing up... I can read it , listen to it... speak it a little .... but typing it .. NOPE... I have problems speaking it because of all the PAst participles n stuff... its a confusing language... hehe lol
