QUOTE(MAIL #1:)

Hello Predrag,

Thank you for writing in to AlertPay Customer Support with your concerns.
My name is Jay and I will be happy to assist you further.

Money is safe with AlertPay however: our chargeback prevention does not
include claims of fraud a client makes with regards to their bank or credit
card company. If a client claims to their bank or credit card company that
funds added to their AlertPay account were done so without their
authorization, we have no choice but to reverse the transaction from the
merhcant whom received these funds. This claim is quite serious. AlertPay
will investigate all these claims as filing a false claim with ones bank or
credit card company is a serious offence.

The member whom has obtained funds address fradulently is: Vytautas Mockus
Email: smtg@one.lt The matter should be resolved by tomorrow.

Regards,
AlertPay CustomerSupport

Hello Predrag,

Thank you for writing in to AlertPay Customer Support with your concerns. My name is Jay and I will be happy to assist you further.

This member did not add funds by credit card, but by bank transfer. Unfortunately we would very much like to contact the clients bank to verify their details, however due to the Patriot act in the US, we cannot verify banking details. We do have a very secure way of verifing bank accounts, however, because of the banking system and electronic debits banks take all claims of an unauthorized deposit swiftly.

We can assure you that we are presenty investigating this client, if this chargeback has been falsely initiated we will pursue legal action against them for bank fraud, as a false chargeback is a serious offence.

We have not issued the chargeback against your AlertPay account as yet, as we are trying to determine whether we can dispute this chargeback with the clients bank right now, if we are successful this means the funds will remain in your AlertPay account. We are trying ensuring all cases of fraud and claims of chargeback are handled accordingly.

Regards,
AlertPay CustomerSupport

Wealthyman
So far i faced no problems
danyboy2010
Wealthyman good to you .
But i try to leave alertpay for this reasons:

1) Fees to high
2)Poor customers support
3)Investiogations are made "StormPay way" . No many details and they close the investigation bad way for customers ( take the money from your account)
4) Lock accounts

I just got my account locked for no reason. When i called them after 40 mins of waiting they told me i need to send them my verification docs again. When i kindly asked why need to because i already sent thme a month ago and got verified. didn't answerd me.just told me i need to send them again grr diablo.gif

If you use basic securty functions ( FireFox, AntySpyware,Firewall) .. Egold is the KING !!!! clapping7.gif

This is part of an email reply that I received from the Licensing Supervisor (Dept. of Financial Institutions):

QUOTE

After doing a thorough search of the Department of Financial Institutions’ records of licensed or exempt escrow, money transmitter, currency exchanger, mortgage broker, consumer loan, check cashers, check sellers, and payday lenders, I am unable to locate any record of Alertpay as either a licensee or as a delegate or branch of a licensee.

Bottom line? Be careful. Knowing they are operating without the necessary license to transmit money, all it would take is a few formal complaints to be filed and we'll see another EMO.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to fulfill your E-Gold withdrawal request at this time as our E-Gold reserves have become depleted. We will be able to fulfill your request approximately by this Friday.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

X2. you couldn't ask for a better PP. I have never encountered any problems, in fact AP has even gone that extra mile in getting me refunds for some shady merchants! smile.gif

Alertpay is a very good payment processor, of course I would trust in it as my default payment processor nor I would move more 200usd with them. But anyway it's good.
CitizenKane
I've read a few thread about AlertPay and over all AlertPay seems to be the best payment processor out there. I've been in the surf industry for a long time and i have to say that AP is definitely my PP of choice. Not to mention the smooth transition from egold to alertpay now. I just moved all my egold to alertpay and it didn't cost me a penny! 0% unbelievable. If you are reading this AlertPay thank you so much and keep up the good job cheer12.gif

yes there is a fee to move egold to alertpay just like there are fees to move money from anywhere thats how payment processors make money. But alertpay is making it free to move egold to alertpay.

AP is muchhhh more safer!

My E-gold acct was hacked, and money was lost.

Iv'e never had my acct hacked with AP, but let's say it did, AP can easily reverse/recover the funds that were lost.

you ever try calling/contacing E-Gold for that? good luck! post-36326-1110185726.gif
mafaltti
In my opinion E-gold is not unsafe, but once too many people use it the hackers are looking at these clients, so any fail of them like lack of security in their computers and pufff a thief access your email and get into your e-gold account. If you use big and safe passwords and care about the security of your PC problems will not happen anymore to your e-gold account.

Currently there is nothing safer than e-gold
and i think that all AlertPay problems we heard around , come from Paid-Surfers or hyip investors who ruined StormPay before and turn it to the biggest scam

Thats great...have you ever tried to transfer out funds over $500?

I am also a verified member and had no problems until a couple of months ago.

I will never trust them again with any of my funds.
ifeelbad
You must have obviously done some fraud or received fraudulent funds or something of that nature.

Come on, AlertPay has been around for so long now, they are verified with the BB and stuff.

I have been using AlertPay, and I transfer in/out funds everyday for more than 500$. last week i withdrew 1,200$ to E-Gold.

AP is a business, like any other business you want to keep your customers happy to keep them coming back and indirectly marketing for you.

I am a verified member and have never had ANY issues with AP. nothing. Most of these things i read about accounts being frozen and what not is because of the merchant not co-operating.

sure, as a merchant even i get clients who file disputes. as long as you CONTACT Alert pay, and don't try and do fraud, they will side with you.

I really see AP getting bigger and bigger, especially when the Credit cards are back up again happy.gif

They never will be, there is to much fraud when it comes to credit cards and unless they want to turn into the next storm pay they wont offer them again. If they do..unless they use max mind or some security system that helps protect them against credit card fraud you would want to keep your funds far from them.

We looked into using them and found more than enough bad information to not even consider them at this stage.
nightwind
Well, have never had trouble with them, managing funds, withdrawing egold to them, etc.

However, I requested a payout from them several days ago, to be sent via check. Have not received my payment so far, although they claim only 1-2 days sendout.

I will update on my success.

suho99
I have transfered more than 3k, no problem.
nightwind
Well, that is good to hear. I contacted them about my withdrawal check and they said 1-2 weeks. I will wait and see what happens.

I have just talked with Firoz from AlertPay and everything is clear now.

Guy with who I exchanged money is thief and AlertPay was forced to chargeback money from my account.

But now they even removed minus from my account and I will keep using it, but I will never again exchange AlertPay for Egold for anyone. smile.gif

What you mean? Did you exchange your e-gold for ap, or was it your ap for e-gold? After they had reversed it the money are lost for you forever?

I have just started to use AP. Was looking to fund my account with e-gold but since they no longer accept it, had to exchange e-gold to ap with some guy. hope he's clean and the money won't be reversed.

Do not use alertpay, I have been scammed by them. They just locked my account for no reasons and never replied a single mail.

There is a reason behind the name !!!

Alertpay means that you MUST be always on the ALERT that your account will be locked anytime they like

Since you're answering questions here and you say you're not working out of a basement,

why are you not listed in any Montreal phone books? I checked both White and Yellow pages

and you're not listed. I have been dealing with you for almost 2 years and admit, I have

never had a problem, but I have always wondered about this. I even did an address (5200 De

La Savanne) check and a bunch of businesses with this address show up, but not you.

You are actually located 20 mins. away from me. Maybe I should just pay you a visit.

Would I be welcomed? harhar.gif

I'm happy with AlertPay as well. They answer on phone..answer on email in max 2 business days ..Is ok
Only problem I had was that I've had to send my verification papers 3 times .. Everytime got declined as the guy from verif department couldnt read the address. I suggest ALP to hire somebody else with better glasses hahaa biggrin.gif

Anyway I'm still cool with them

Ive never had a problem either.....when i send funds by money order they are always in my account within 24hrs, usually less, i was verified within 24 hours, and received my first cheque in 1 business day which blew my mind!!
It seems those who have had problems were up to something shady or had done some shady dealings. The person who started this thread had his problem resolved and it taught him a lesson about exhanging funds with someone he doesnt know.
Whenever Ive called AP, they have always answered and provided the answers i needed.
I am a bit curious about Treebartts question about not being listed in the phone books, but since the phone number and address are on the website its not that big a deal to me. I know the phone number is accurate because ive called it, and i know the office address is real because ive sent money orders by courier and were signed for by reception.
Overall, excellent service!
