I didnt believe when i was read about problems for Babytalk magazine because their August cover. They were received more than 4000 email, letters like this few:
"I was SHOCKED to see a giant breast on the cover of your magazine," one person wrote. "I immediately turned the magazine face down," wrote another. "Gross," said a third.

Why are peole so ridiculously uptight - its just a BOOB!

Honestly - arent there plenty of other things to get fired up about than this? Just as an aside - I am sure there isnt much of a movement out there denouncing the Discovery channel for showing animals having sex . . .

Breast-feeding is natural thing. How something like that can be "Gross" .

Maybe is all that because Pamela Anderson and other "plastic" beautifull actress and singes. When someone see breast first association is Pamela and others . So child and breast must be something "Gross".

I think it's crazy that anyone would get offended over that magazine cover. It just shows how closed minded some people can be. If they think human nature is gross then something is seriously wrong with them.

i brest fed my child 16 yr ago when he was born and the baby and mother magasines we had then were just like that magazine when ti come to pictures and covers

its not a sexually explicit thing ...and its not showing as much as what a lot of newspapers and magazines do in shops ....which are fully on view to everyone even kids....

I think that is normal if few readers dont like pictures like that one, but if 4000 readers of this magazine “dont like” that picture – that is big problem (not with magazine).

I dont understand what the big deal is....
It seems that caring for a child in public is becomming a disgrace,
I suppose that soon mothers will not be allowed to wash thier childrens faces in public.
Honestly, we see much more on the big screen where we are captive to much more explict
images ... is that also "Gross" ? No... that is considered art.
Paying to see soft porn right in your local theather is big money, A mother nursing her
child is not. The problem is that a nursing mom isnt making anyone any money
So, the image is just plain "Shocking" and "gross". I am sure an advertisement to a
rated R flick would have been much more acceptable on a baby magazine.

On other side, be naked is nature thing too.
But if someone try to walk naked on the street, he or she will be arrested soon .

Good one fishie. Sometimes I think people need to open their eyes and actually think about how stupid they have become. They will let kids watch a soft porn or someone murdering someone (not to mention some of the cartoons out today), but when it comes to something natural like this then it should not be shown in public.



Well there is a thing to be said for decency. It would not be morally right to do this in my opinion and cause to many problems.

People are so strange.
It is a Babytalk mag...wonder what they'd say about it if they read through the giving birth sections and whatnot. It's not gross, it's not shocking, it's life and a very amazing thing. Kids gross out on that stuff, not adults.

It just shows that people are so sheltered or something and aren't comfortable with natural, normal human processes. Some just want to complain.

I say, they should just get over it; it wasn't portrayed in a risque or sexual manner.
There shouldn't be an issue with normal things.
