Dear prasxz,
If you meet somebody who is making money in forex please pm me. I am also planning to trade in forex. QUOTE(godisjust @ Aug 9 2006, 02:23 PM) Dear prasxz, If you meet somebody who is making money in forex please pm me. I am also planning to trade in forex. I know a few traders that make 5k to 10k a week but they are traders, not marketeers selling a system or a method. If you want to become a successfull trader over the long-trem then you should first start to study the fundamentals that move the specific market that you want to trade. Open a demo account with one of those crapy retail brokers to experience the market movements on fundamentals, from there you should add mechanical trading to spot the right entries and exits and learn to read chart basics and all the other stuff. A good place to start is babypips.com, we also have a good signal provider here, 88forex.blog.com what can be used as a good start up/back up plan, but learn to analyse the markets that you want to trade by yourself as well over time. If it is to much for you to handle for whatever reason then you should maybe consider a managed account but nothing goes above the freedom of being able to trade and make profit by yourself. Success! Let this be to all NEW traders..
Open a demo account. AND PLAY WITH THE INDICATORS. Don't just sit there going "oh its too hard"... Its like riding a bike, you have to fall off time and time again for you to learn how to ride. Trading wheels just make you unbalanced, so all you can do is get the balls and go for gold. That or just trade the news. Thats what most new guys seem to be doing these days QUOTE(fxinvestmentpool admin @ Aug 9 2006, 11:51 PM) That or just trade the news. Thats what most new guys seem to be doing these days Trading news is harder than most seem to believe.
Dear Now,
Do you or anyone else know any managed accounts with good returns? Thanks QUOTE(Now @ Aug 9 2006, 08:32 AM) I know a few traders that make 5k to 10k a week but they are traders, not marketeers selling a system or a method. depends on your definition of good returns. And also your mimimum account size. I know guys doing very high return managed accounts but you need like 500k
I also know someone else who trades smaller accounts with reasonable returns.
I have 25K in IRA and 20K in playable cash. At min 20% a month would be nice. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
