I have some money to withdraw from my egold using one of the Msian exchangers. But I'm not sure which bank to open an account. Maybank is probably the most popular choice but BCB is also available. What are the pros and cons of each bank? And is Maybank's fees higher than BCB's? I know Maybank has more services but I'm only interested in using a bank to withdraw my egold money so if the fees are higher I might as well join BCB. What do you guys think?
Maybank dun charge any fees for internet banking fund transfer
Maybank2u has the TAC thingy which is supposed to make your account safer but I personally find it troublesome....
BCB is basically easier if you prefer online transaction...
Maybank implemented the TAC for security reasons. Getting the TAC on our mobile phone via SMS is quite convenient already
TAC is very good for security reasons , anyway comparing bcb and m2u , i'd go for maybank , it's very very convenient when u do online shoppings like lelong.com.my (For malaysians) , it's the MAIN online banking being used to do transactions...even most of the e-gold dealers i know , using maybank.
i would prefer MAYBANK due t the security reason..i've use BCB RHB and MAYBANK...yues maybe its abit troublesome...TAC late and stuf..buts security is more important
i prefer maybank because of the security features. furthermore i hv been using its m2u for the past 6 years. there is no fee for online trf / payment to another mbb acc holders
If you have problem receiving the TAC via SMS, just calling the Kawanku phonebanking to get your TAC immediately. the number is 1300-88-6688
OR , go to any atm machine and just request TAC tru ATM machines , u can change your phone number to receive TAC at anytime.
