I have not owned a bike since late 1992,it was a 1992 Suzuki GSX1100R and was a lot of fun. Here it is 13 years later and I decided I just had to have another so I called these people to ask a few questions http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...bayphotohosting next thing ya know I whipped out my credit card and put a deposit down on it one week from this Friday I will head out to go pick it up.

Oo nice to see you biker boy
I like to ride aaaah i love to have R1 or Honda CBR 1000 2004.....
Now a days i have nothing but i purchase one R1 in 2004 and a HONDA beat sports car. Now a days i like to purchase one bike like CBR 1000 2004 but have nothing i mean money.... aaah these doublers really disappointed me and mostly TMR.
Now i can't purchase help mmg
Pakistan is new market for bikes. Importing is little bit difficult but business of bikes here is so good. I was also doing business....sold some FZR and Ninja's....
One bike can profit $1000.... let's say if i import a r1 i can defenatly make 1000$ to 1500$ profit.
But have no investors
Brian you can't beleive how much i like bikes.... i love and in list of my dreams....bikes dream is first one i never left any of bikes movie like tourque, biker boys, fast 2 furious 2.......

I ride a BMW F650st, not quite a sport bike, but plenty fun. I'm actually looking to upgrade pretty soon, hopefully before June.
As for the Hayabusa, it really is overkill. The 600 sport bikes these days put out more power than the liter bikes did back in '92. I guess it might be nice to say you have the power, but in all reallity the bike isn't very flickable (very long wheelbase and heavy) and vibrates a lot at low rpm (stoplights, around town ect.). Keep in mind you havent ridden in over a decade, you really might want to brush up on your skills before hopping on a death machine of a 'busa. I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for, but the 'busa, blackbird, and zx-12r's do have their niche market I suppose. Anyways, what is done is done, go out and have fun, but dont be stupid.
Be sure you invest in good gear. Don't go with the cheap-ass stuff that is all style and essentially not protection (ex: icon). When you go down, you will be in much better shape. Then again, if your going 180 and crash, gear isn't really going to help you. Be smart bro.

Very nice looking bike. I do not have one but am looking foward to getting one in the next 2 or 3 years It will probably be a honda or a BMW. My father has a 1100 BWM, a 1989 I think, really not sure about the date, and its still pretty smooths. Its getting tired though.

I had a ZX-7R (had some aftermarket stuff on it, street pipes, jet kit) back in 94.... had it like 2 months cause one of my friends got killed on his bike and another crashed his and was in the hospital ( he ended up in a wheel chair for like a year and on crutches for a while after that), so after alot of preasure from my mom and the g/f I had at the time I sold it...
Now I wanna Harley or I might get the first OCC "MMG BIKE"...
I just wanna ride...........

the long wheel base is one of the the things that attracked me to it,it's more stable at speed as far as heavy,I don't think 478lbs is very heavy. I rode a friends 600 once,it's much to small of a bike for me.
I sat on a zx12 a few weeks back, not only was it ugly but you were leaned way to far forward to make it much fun for any lengthy rides, the Busa is muck more comfy I'm pumped, one week from tomorrow I head toward Springfield IL to go pick it up

1) Hayabusa's are ~540lb wet which is a rather heavy bike, especially compared to some of the supersports that weigh in at ~420lbs wet. This is not that big of an issue in terms of straightline speed, but with an extra 100lbs of bike and a MUCH longer wheelbase it makes the bike difficult to handle and simply incapable of taking corners at speeds other bikes can. As I said, the bike is not flickable.
Yes, a longer whelebase is going to make a more stable bike at higher speeds, but to be honest, I hope you are not stupid enough to put a hayabusa anywhere near its capabilities on the open road. If you are going to take it to the track, go for it, have fun, but you still wont be using it anywhere near its capabilities. The only reason you could conceivably need that much power would be if you drag race, but very few people do.
2) The point I was trying to make when I brought up the 600's is that they create ~110hp which is comprable to a literbike in the early 90's. I wasnt really trying to sell you on buying a 600, just pointing out the rediculous amount of power you will have at the palm of your hand compared to the last bikes you are familiar with. 170hp and MUCH more responsive fuel mapping could ultimately be more than what you are able to handle having been out of the saddle for well over a decade.
3) I think the zx12r's look the best out of the bunch, unless you consider BMW's new k1200s that was just recently released. Then again Styling is all personal taste
4) I guess it depends on your idea of confort. All of those bikes listed have a fairly aggressive riding position and will not be comfortable on your wrists for rides over 2 hours.
Anyways, congrats on your new purchase, I just hope you are smart enough not to open that throttle up all the way - both for your sake and the lives of others. Again, be sure to not cut corners in terms of safety gear, and don't act like the worthless squids that I love to hate.

I am a drag racer and sit on that zx10 or 12 and then sit on the Busa, you will see which is more comfy,I have been reading some Busa boards the past few days and people talk of riding 500 miles in a day and it not bothering them on the Busa, plus they sell risers for the handle bars to sit them up a bit more to straighen you out a little bit more yet, that will be my first mod.
As far as smaller bikes go,if I was to buy one it would be that new GSXR1000,370 lbs dry and about 150 hp at the rear tire, they say it won't stop doing wheelies till 4th gear, thats my kind of ride, well would be if I didn't plan on spending most of my time on the rode.
And I can't wait to open it up we do have a local road course with a 1/2 mile straight away,I hear the Busas are hitting 180 on it,doubt I will push it that hard but I will have fun
I got curious and looked up the "dry" weight of my 92 and it said Dry Weight: 226 kg (497 lbs) thats a little more than the dry weight of the Busa and I thought the 92 handled well but then I had just got rid of an 88 Ninja 1000,that was a pig.

Believe it or not, I used to ride dirt bikes when I was younger! Had a bike before I owned a car, a Kawasaki! Man that was fun, the neighbors always complained about me! I also like to target shoot, have not done that since I got sick but I am a really good shot! A friend of mine has this huge property he owns, we used to go out and line up beer bottles and see who was the best shot! Always had a lot of fun with it! Brian good luck with your bike and have fun!!
