question as title,

is it illegal for malaysian to bet on online casino, poker and sports betting? post-69220-1110229459.gif

how would bank negara detect?

will they come to u if no transaction thru bank (using e-currency egold, neteller, moneybooker etc...)

then how about the money we earn from autosurfing?

cashhola
it is ilegal if the banknegara doesnt approve of it.

if u too many transfer money on online and they will detect you in any way...

some more the LHDN try to reach you...

nowadays bank negara still dont approve of online transfer to any of investment program and any betting program..

i'm wondering how powerful and effective the bank negara is.

we might not know we are operating illegal activity as everything seems jus a click away online.

how about those who invested 10k-20k in the autosurf/hyip?

that consider as online fund transfer right?

u mean register a server for the web-hosting or access to the server?

if the government really getting serious with this, they should limit the access to the betting website.

of because it's wrong when u r caught, crying.gif tat's often too late.

the LHDN should not come to u if u dun buy high value property with the money.

yes i believe it would be illegal

in other words, it is legal until you get caught harhar.gif
anyway, i think the net is too 'complicated' for our regulators to really understand. They have too many real world problems to handle and I only see authorities stepping in when some datuk or tan sri loses some money and makes a complaint ninja.gif

BNM's investigation of PIPS already shows that they do not really understand these things and have to approach the issue from a real world perspective

trust me.. bank negara is powerful...

they can even detect your ip address...

but the chance of getting caught is still low..

because they have many other thing to look rather than online....
