What do you truely want from an HYIP? What characteristics do you look for before thinking about investing? What gives you the final decision to invest?
What about a certain program gives you the feeling of trust/honesty/security that you want in a program. I'm assuming that you want those three things, I know i did when i was in your shoes.
I think a lot of people are leaping before they look and then get mad when they are scammed.

Richard, it's really hard to say. What I personally look for is something that is positioned for the long term and with little signs of scam as much as possible. The admin should be active, honest and the program should have income streams. Just be careful, there are way too many scams, MANY! Be careful and choose the ones with realistic rates. Good luck to you

i look for something that seems stable. an active forum thread on MMG with established members, active admin, payments on time.
its really tough to decide what may or may not be a scam. within my first week of playing with hyip's, i lost on 2 different ones that paid for a week and then gone. luckily i didnt lose too much and learned my lesson to do my own investigation before putting any money into a program

Hey there Richard,
For me, I would want a hyip that pays (I will get my monies multiplied/returns as per promised). I will also look for certain qualities ie stable rates, admin's attitute and commitment, stats of a particular prog to determine if the boat is too heavy or not, feedback from members ie from forum posts etc. My final decision to invest or not also depends on my instincts, current investing capital etc...

Thanks Sensible Investor,
Well everything you said there I hope to portray in my HYIP: www.projectyayarea.com Check it out. I was once in your shoes and as I like to say "if i want to find a genuine opportunity, why not be the genuine opportunity. I know it just started today, but I hope that time will prove me by my word. Check out the video and the site, and there might be a new design coming soon but thats not for certain.

Talking about hyips and loking for ways of identifying a good one. What you are after is for all those with experience to pool their knowledge for the best for everyone. I was looking back last year and 2004 when there was a lot of talk about getting a number of investors together to invest in one hyip. that way the total investment would be more and get the higher interest that comes with more than 500 or $1000 investment while spreading the risk over ten, twenty or thirty investors. The thread went on and on but it never happened.
Admin for this forum could hold the cash and invest on everyone's behalf.
find the thread by putting hyip in search, nice adea.............................

Most hyips are scams and eventually will run. My personal belief is that the longer they have been around the closer they are to running. You cant really do DD on these things. One strategy is to find new hyips that have just started up invest and get your investment out as fast as you can. Dont be fooled into thinking that a program that claims to have been around a long time is a safer bet then one that hasnt.

ive started to learn that. if i see a good program that has been up for 2 or 3 days, may be worth a small test spend just to make a little money, usually around for at least a fe days before running
It’s what you find out about, just after it’s gone, a bit like drinking and knowing your limit, 2 drinks after you have exceeded it.

A want a transparent program with a real trader of some kind. A program where we could see all the trades that take place, and we earn according to how well the trader does that month.

I try to find the newest hyip with most outragous rate offered.
I run for three days with a small spend. I make money on the first day most of the time.
The higher the rate the less time I find that they stay around.
The two in my signature are my finds for today.
A small spend out in the first day the other two are cake with the high rated hyips.
I have a few programs I am in for stability. I just got paid by SI for the first payment out on their 60 program. 10by5 cycler is working nicely and FantasticPay.
Looking for info on any of the ones I mentioned above PM me for details.
