since yesterday evenening (22.50 GMT +1 ) my cards and stopt moving in MT4 as well as in FX? Anyone knows how to get them moving again?

I started my FXCM demo account in March (using MT4 now) but started drifting away from it due to other MMG ideas. However, I've been getting back into it with a close friend and have a whole bunch of sites that I'm looking at and tons bookmarked. I can't wait for a forex chatroom, that would be very beneficial for us. Keep up all the great work guys.

Ok, today was my second trading day. I have a total of 17 trades - 7 winning, 10 loosing. I hope I'll rake in some winners tomorrow!!!
.... that's not it!!! I want share my noobie discovery with everyone. The thing is called hedging. If you have an open position and you see the market went against the trend, not the way you expected: just open a position in the opposite direction to minimize your losses-so you are loosing your old position and winning the one recently opened! I've been testing out hedging with the fxwizard strategy which seems to be awsome. I think hedging is a very good option if ur trading live n looking for consistancy and minimising loss. If theres anyone who has good expereince with hedging can u please post some good links to learn more about it also trading platforms which offer good hedging capabilities. I know a few platforms offering hedging capabilities but i want to know which offers the best.

i have a question--- i opened a strategybuilderFX demo and my charts have not refreshed since last night. I logged off and back in and selected "refresh charts".
when i am on the M1 charts, shouldnt they be refreshing every minute?? i havent been able to find an answer on the board.....thanks!

I realized that discipline is my worst enemy.
There are so many winning systems out there, yet, I continue to loose money. I figured out a way to overcome this (don’t laugh). I made myself a checklist. Before I enter a trade, I am forcing myself to go through each box and check to make sure my entry conditions are met. If I feel rushed or worried I will miss the trade, its probably not a good one anyway. Once all conditions are checked off, I jump down to the 1 minute chart to try and enter at the best possible moment. I hope this works for me
Let us know how your checklist idea works out UJ. I'm still trying to figure out the technical analysis, lol.

Try an oanda account, start with $25 and just trade real money. Its only $25 but it will make you think before entering a trade.

It simply ROCKS. It has a very simple & effective strategy that is explained in simple words from A-Z , its makes 5-50 pips per trade and its highly consistant. All u need to do is read the short system and take the strategy seriously and decepline urself to using it and it will work for u. I personally tested the system on friday and made 23 pips smile.gif with 3 trades (6,6,11). I need to find a good broker that lets me trade off of METATRADER. Any ideas? I think FXDD is good but seems to have mixed reviews.
Stupid REFCO didnt honor my TP last night (price even went past it by 4 pips) and turned a 20 gain into a 20 pip loss. Amazing how they always seem to miss my TP but have no problem stopping me out Grrrrrrr |
