First of all, lets not start a "Lets flame TG!" thread here.
I was just wondering.
MMG has to be way more popular as they have more than 2 million posts all together, and Talkgold only has less than 1 million.
And TG started 1 year earlier than MMG did.
MMG has way more posts and members too.
Seems everybody flocks to MMG.
I do it because its a nice design and has more people to chat to and is more active.
So please, don't start a "Flame TG" thread.
Just tell me why MMG is more popular.

I don't know the exact raeson why, but I LOVE MMG....

where is why from my experience.

TG is not fast as MMG, i dont know too many banners or slow server.
TG blocked my account for no reason.
TG has a lot of ads all over the places, i feel i was like on a Pixel Ads page.
TG admin never reply my email or pm.
TG layout is not good as MMG.

And the most important thing is that MMG treat everyone the same, its fair, unlike TG, you are the boss if you have money.

Did that Mobile guy pay you?
If yes i pay you double the amount to hate him

We also have alot more spammers here on MMG as well. It seems most TG members refuse to post/speak the majority of the time as well. I prefer MMG myself. I had my account banned for no reason as well.

I prefer MMG over TG because of the layout, the speed and the members

Not saying TG is bad though

fully agree with you. There is sooo many ads Also don`t like TG design.

Same here, MMG is more clean than TG. It looks like a big patchwork there. Doesn´t mean I don´t like it, I post there, too, but I like MMG more :-) Also here you can have Banners, at TG just text. So I made one line bigger - they complained about the size, so I made it smaller. Then they complained that it was centered, so I alligned it to the left. Now they seem to be happy lol

MMG just seems to be more professional, TG reminds me of a Tupperware party

TG and MMG - different forums and different type of investors visiting them.

Beside pixel look, I really dislike level of discussion there... sorry, but I feel uncomfortable there, and also have feeling there is enormous a lot of bad energy there... like people would search only for bad and bad and bad things... and if there is nothing bad, they just make up something

I think it is pitty, because I think admin of TG is a nice and fair guy

The traffic rankings are about the same for TGF and MMG. The main difference is in the nominal member counts and the amounts of posts. IHMO, in addition to subjective individual preferences, there are some more stuctural reasons for this difference.

For example:
- MMG is more "advertiser-friendly" than TGF. Higher KoolAid levels (advertisers love that) => more cheerleaders (who post more on average than other types).

- MMG doesn't allow search function for non-members. Once people open an account get used to the layout on one board, they tend to stick with it and invite other people they know.

I like MMG more than TG

I believe talkgold was bigger than mmg when I first joined both forums.

But all the 12dp arguements and the fact that TG is badly moderated, makes mmg a much better place IMO.

I thought MMG rocked because Mobile said so?

Actualy I think that TG should be bigger than MMG they have better rating in google and alexa but it seems that MMG have more members than talkgold and its more active.

Talkgold members can have multiple account and to me alot of negative and spammers i got from there.
Of cos there is still serious investors in both forum.
MMG still consider the best to me personally.
