Ok I would like to let everyone know my experience with InvestDaddy. At first I looked at them with confidence and knowing they are one of the most professional monitors around, with their good reputation, I listed my site with them in the gold listing and willing paid the fee and I was happy with the automatic listing.

However, I feel disappointed just today when I received their reply regarding the ad slot I purchased 7 days ago.

Here is the story.

On May 29th, 2006 I purchased and paid $300 for 7 days of static banner placement on their site 728 x 90 pixel banner. Here is the confirmation I received.



After a few minutes I asked them this:



Then got this reply a few minutes later:



Then a follow up email from them:



Ok so I understand clearly that another site has purchased a 1 week slot in the location I purchased, so I will get listed on June 7.

Ok today is June 7, and I was so excited to see my banner there and it should be static so I was so happy. But then when I checked the site I saw the same site listed there since last week with the description saying the ad will expire June 15th, wherein I was supposed to have my banner there with that expiry date.

So I was confused and contacted Investdaddy about it:



They replied of course:



I didnt fully understand their reply so I sent another e-mail with this as my message:

Knowing I waited for 7 days , they are just informing me of the changes after 7 days of purchasing the slot.

I once again replied to them of course, since I want the service promised to me as described when I purchased it 7 days ago.

Glad you posted this, I was just about to look into to getting that top banner.

Of course I am only after what is due to me. I paid for the ad knowing my banner will be the only one on there, ...

static banner placement and rotating (even with just rotating 2 banners) makes a whole lot of difference.

I should get what I paid for. Thats whay I am after.

What disappoints me is that I waited for 7 days for my ad to be placed, and then I hear about the changes only on the day my banner was to be activated... it really makes me feel down, as I was so excited waiting for 7 days to pass by...

It feels discomfitting that they change a long-standing AD-POLICY the very last minute which is impartial to the one on queue for that slot. They could have served both high-cost ad placement below each other -- and still static and non rotational. That's the least notorious option they could have.

Very well said, thats exactly my point. I want professional service from a highly reputable monitor. I was not expecting it to be like this at all, considering I am dealing with a premier monitoring company.

I have always thought investdaddy is over- rated anyway. They sprang out of no where and took over. Now it looks like they are suffering from greed and oversized boots.

I bought ads there once myself, and it didn't work out - I didn't get a reply for like 5 days, but finally, I got a reply - Mike had been out of town. I think Mike is likely the sole person running the whole site. In my case, he took good care of me and extended my advertising purchase, so I was pleased. I can see how this was frustrating, though.

Well, the E-BusinessOnline.Com Monitor (no link for fear of my last warning and getting banned for hijacking your thread! ) isn't near as popular as InvestDaddy - but with your help, and other admins help, and members' help - it can be! I look forward to proudly running your big leaderboard graphic!

What professionalism could you ask from a gipsy guy who made a 1/2h work site
only for earning money from the admins back, not for truly promoting them.
He bought a $1 cheap hosting, downloaded a old monitor script from the p2p networks,
and with a little promotion via spam on mmg ant talkgold forums, VOILA, a new monitor,
with the guts to ask hundreds of $$ for advertising.... INVESTDADDY ADMIN, you are a B***H

InvestDady is a very good monitor! But I think both parties have to be prossional. Sometimes we just have to move on when businesspartners dissapoint us. Sometimes when our expectations are not met then we become angry but wenting here is not professional. One story about InvestDaddy some of you might have missed can be found in the Phoenixsurf thread ... Now that was a real scandal

However didnt I agreed to refund you and offer with various option to you as Goodwill?

I have already apologised and explained to you regarding the reasons for two rotating ads.

1. You gave us two options .

a. ) Remove goodlife there and give you the right service you paid for.
b. ) Refund you

2. I choose the refund option as you cannot accomodate a rotating ad.

3. But then again you refuse a refund when I ask for your account no.

4. Yes we are wrong when we stated it was a non-rotating ad few days ago. So I offered another solution that is to place your ad below GoodLife-Surfing which is non-rotating as agreed earlier.

I never like arguing but since you are so unreasonable , I would like to hear from you again.

I was so excited for 7 days, to get my banner there, then now im disappointed.

InvestDaddy, last 7 days ago, why did you not just rotate my banner and the other site's ad if you planned to rotate these.

Also, you are being bias. the other site had their 1 week already of being alone there,,, why are you trying to refund me instead of removing the other site and putting my banner alone in there.

I am very disappointed here. People are siding with a HYIP admin who might not be here the next month.

Havent InvestDaddy.com been always having the members in mind? We are always thinking of new features and functions to help members to judge a program.

I also started as a member like you guys . I was scammed everytime by HYIP & Autosurf Admins thru unreliable information from Monitors.

I was tired of all this nonsense and wanted to start a monitor with meaningful information that is based around members .

And pls this is not a 1/2 hour script that can be downloaded, if not you will already see 10 x investdaddy.com . It took us at least 1 month to code it from scratch.

In the real business world, no one offers refunds unless the customer asks for it.

Imagine this. If you were a car dealer, and I paid for the car that would be delivered a week later, and then after the car arrives in 1 week, you told the customer that someone got it already, how would I feel?

Come on, we only need good service, no flaking, no changing of terms in the last minute.

I was refunded, because they cant let me be the only one in the leaderboard static banner,

But they let the other site to stay there for 7 days all alone... very weird. We just paid the same price.
