Hi,
I am wondering, if anyone is traveling to germany to the worldcup.... If yes- where will you go there? Mel
Unfortunately circumstances don't allow me to go even though I would love to. I would stay with my relatives and visit some of the places I did when I was a kid while there.

The relatives I mostly visit live in Nurnberg now but use to live in Heidelberg. I also have relatives in Erfurt und Frankfurt. Now forgive me if I get this wrong since it has been many years since I have been back but lets try it. Deutschland uber alles QUOTE(Gizmo @ May 23 2006, 10:39 AM) I only visited many times but never lived in Deutschland. Deutschland uber alles funny, it is almost right! just that "uber" is "ueber"...lol I live near Heidelberg and two 2 hours by car from Frankfurt QUOTE(melle51203 @ May 23 2006, 02:45 PM) funny, it is almost right! just that "uber" is "ueber"...lol I live near Heidelberg and two 2 hours by car from Frankfurt I forgot about the "e" when there is no umlaut, Heidelberg is a beutiful little place and I have great childhood memories of it. I also remember how big Nurnberg seemed when we went to see my Uncles photo studio there. It has been a long time and I hope to get back soon. The drive between Heidelber and Frankfurt is something I remember as well. We would land in Frankfurt stay the night with relatives and they would drive us to heidelberg. This way was cheaper than the linking flight between Frankfurt and Nurnberg for a whole family.
