Anyways I got to thinking we in the USA are occupied with Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. and now Iran. I just got to thinking about the president of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the speeches he has made. It is quite troubling between the relations of him and Hiter. The similarities between Ahmadinejad and Hitler have been troubling in terms of words and now actions, Ahmadinejad's seeking to distinguish Jews and Christians from non-Muslims as Hitler had done with the Jewish people. In August of 1935, Hitler declared, "I am convinced no power on earth can attack us again." On April 18, 2006, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stated, "Iran's enemies know your courage, faith and commitment to Islam and the land of Iran has created a powerful army that can powerfully defend the political borders and the integrity of the Iranian nation and cut off the hands of any aggressor." In that same speech, Hitler also stated, "We want pleace and reconstruction." IN Ahmadinejad's speech in he said, "We want peace, security and progress for all people, in particular countries of the region and our neighbors." Both leaders sought to cast themselves as strongly wanting world peace. At the time, Hitler was seeking to rebuild the German military. In August of 1934, Hitler vowed that "if it rests with Germany, war will not come again...we shall never fight again except in self-defense." On April 24, 2006, Ahmadinejad stated, "I suport peace and quiet, and I am a very peace-loving man... To this day, I have never harmed an ant in my life. Allah willing, I will never harm any living or inanimate object." In terms of actions, Iran has been seeking to gain full control over the entire nuclear fuel cycle much as Hitler's Germany had sought independence from foreign raw materials under its "Autarkie" policy. At the time, Germany's dependence on imported raw materials was seen as its biggest obstacle to rearmament. Iran sees control over the nuclear fuel cycle being key to its gaining full control of its destiny. "When a people master nuclear technology and nuclear fuel, nothing can be done against them," Iran’s armed forces joint chief of staff, Gen Hassan Firouzabadi explained.
Now reports are coming out that the Iranian parliament passed a law that "would require the country's Jews and Christians to wear coloured badges to identify them and other religious minorities as non-Muslims." Some deny it dismissing it as untrue, although in reality I would not doubt this is happening...
Basically I am against Iran having anything to do with nuclear "energy" and in my opinion Iran should of been watched more closely than Iraq, but of course you seen what happened. I really hope this gets solved peacefully...

What do you all think?
