Mine was disputed by them. And guess what was the reason?

It says "Please be advised that the transactions listed on the enclosed 2 chargeback forms were valid transactions. EMO sells money orders which it delivers electronically. Through a series of transactions, 2 being the disputed charges, the cardholder purchased the money orders which were subsequently sent to a merchant via account transfer. EMO delivered the money orders as promised."

What the receiver tries to imply is that, as long as the money is in the merchant's (or other party's) EMO account, EMO's job is considered done! Whether they are going to get the money in their bank and in cash, is NOT of EMO's concern! And I seriously think this is a big JOKE!

Of course, I pursue a second chargeback, which is a pre-arbitration.

Yea .. that's the bull the receiver told my CC company too. "EMO was a third party merchant and they delivered the transactions as promised" ... a BIG fat joke!!! I processed this right after the Feds moved in and got nada back so far. My second chargeback was denied too 4.gif

I got a letter for 2 of my chargeback today too, saying the same, that they sent my money orders.

They also list a whole bunch of crap about SP and 12dp, but my money was sent to Stormysurf shares; it had nothing to do with SP and 12dp. I told the guy this and he seems to think I will be able to keep my money, but who knows? I'm also fighting their time frame rule. They told me if EMO didn't dispute the money in 45 days, after that time, it was mine permently. My dispute was filed April 6th, so its been over 45 days.

Keeping my fingers crossed. Will let you know what happens. Bad enough I got scammed by Terra from SF, but now Visa too. UGH!!!!!! I hate this!!!!!! furious.gif

I would request your inputs at one issue I have, and would appreciate if you could help with your comments.

During the 12dp saga, I had used my WellsFargo cc to fund my EMO account, this money went to 12dp.

Later on, 12dp went down and so did EMO.

I filed a dispute with my bank for 3k. They put the money back in my cc account.

Now I got another letter from wells Fargo, stating that they have heard back from EMO and I have respond to them.EMO states the money did go to 12Dp and they have nothing got to do with the charge back.If the bank agrees, I will have to bear 3k on this.

I dunno what to do and how to put it across that I can save this blow on me.I need to respond to wellsFargo on this asap in 2 days.

Can you suggest a suitable answer which may help me out of this.

Thanks in advance.

Mik

Well my excuse would be, yes, they did send the money to 12dp, but then when EMO went into receivership there was no way for you to get back your comission from 12dp, and your money got stuck in EMO, so you never got the service you paid for, and, the odds of your getting back your money once the investigation is over, is slim to none, so as per your cc policy, you should be protected against something like this. Just my humble opinion. I wish you luck. I too have received a letter from my cc company saying ENMO is contesting my chargeback, but they are out side the 45 day rule, so hopefully that will let me keep my money. I will post when I get a reply and let you know what happened.

I sent in my chargeback on or about March 15th, and of course they represented (cant remember the exact date, i have that info at work).... at which time i sent in my supporting documents which consisted of copies of 3 MO's returned by my bank in amounts exceeding the amounts of my deposits... i have not followed up with my bank lately, but i will be doing so shortly... they did give me temp credits when i initiated the chargeback.
