I've been looking around MMG and other similar forums. I seem to find a lot of so called "cheerleaders" basically promoting the autosurf they are in and seeming to honestly believe that this one is "different", that it is actually legit. I am sure there are some autosurfs that are close to "legit". I.E. The ones that "invest" in other autosurfs, as this seems to be the only real way to explain such a large consistant payout, for sites such as DadsandDaves. However, there is still so much money they can "invest" in other autosurfs. Plus, if they are making so much, then why do they need the hassle of running an AS? I mean after a month or so, you would have so much money that you don't need the autosurf anymore. So why not just pay everybody off, take the profit and use that to make money? I have yet to see an autosurf just pay everybody off and close. Have you? If you're a cheerleader, why is yours different? Have you seen the "books" of your AS? I mean look at every single site. They either die out or keep going till they die out. Don't get me wrong I myself do invest in autosurfs, but I will never say any one of them is truly capable of such an amazing income. Oh and yes it's invest, no matter what word your using, you're in them to make the profit they advertise, simple as that. That's called investing, I.E. giving up something in order to recieve a greater return. You can invest a lot of things, such as, time, thought, oh yeah, and MONEY. They are all ponzi's. Very few admit it though. Look at phoenix, they have cheerleaders up the wazoo, even after the problems. How ignorant can a person be?
Now on to the people that trash an AS that "scammed" them. Huh? What? You mean you didn't know it was a ponzi? Well you deserve it then. All of these autosurfs will have people crying scam at some point. But are they really scams? Do they not do what they promise? Do they not give you a return until they run out of money and when they do, they always state in their FAQ that the return is never promissed. We all know what we get into with these guys, we all know it's a ponzi scheme, well except seemingly the cheerleaders. But I have a binary theory about cheerleaders. They are either complete morons or they are simply trying to keep their cash cow going as much as possible. I don't see an in between.
Anyways, it's 12am and I'm bored, any thoughts?

i'd say they are scams but it all depends what you are trying to use them for. If you are just trying to get paid to travel around websites and click links then you are fine. But if you are running a website with something like google adsense on it and you pay people to go and "surf" your site and click your links then google will terminate your account. So you can get paid to surf, but don't pay to have traffic surfed specifically to any site with ad programs similar to adsense.

the biggest ST scam have already gone, so what makes any autosurfs more legal in that sense? No.

I disagree with the word scam, everybody knew ST was a ponzi. Unless they were morons. ST was pretty good I think to go the length that it did. I mean, I probably just lost 300$ between select/surflikecrazy, of course I'm bummed, but I also realise that there was a decent chance this would happen.

A lot of times we end up banning those cheerleader types because we find out the admin of the hyip or autosurf is paying them a few pennies for every post they make in their thread on MMG and TG. We are strongly against this sort of activity and ban all who are involved.
Usually my strategy has always been to wait for the ones that look well planned and have a professional design. The last program I was in was wiredsurf which i stayed in for 2 cycles but onthe 2nd cycle it took 8 days to pay me which was a little much for me, so i didn't reinvest. As long as you hold out for the few good ones and plan your investments carefully, you should be able to make a decent profit.

I like your strategy Jason. But I don't focuss on well designed sites, I focuss more in the business plan and how their plans are, lately there are some autosurf with plans lik 25% in 5 days (like HYIP) which is not a stable plan. About the design compact surfing dont have a good design, its a simple design but is a well business plan.
I say every autosurf will close soon or later, but you have to open your eyes and don't follow cheeleaders or "I got paid" posts. Enter the site, check their style, contact them see how professional they answer and follow your heart "Join or not to Join". I don't know if I'm allow to post a simple guide that I wrote about Autosurf guide: "Join or not to join" Autosurf guide Join or not to Join

I tried a couple anto surfs in the past, to me you have to spend a good size of change to make money or go the real slow way with just a few bucks invested, I don't have that patience and I'am afraid to spend big on auto surfs. But I think you could make money on them if you find good programs.

so the average start up time would be like... 3-4 months then for autosurfs?

to me, the autosurf industry is taking the same path as the doubler industry we really have to use our heads.

AS is the place where you can make money if you are good in recognising the signs just before they close down, otherwise it is a risky place to be in.

it is better to consider all these auto surfs/doublers/matrix sites as games.you may lose with some or may gain with some. one good startegy is to wait for some thing which looks good like quality of the site, admin, their customer supprot, model and stuffs like that.then put as much money as you can,at the same time within your comfortable zone.when ever possible,i bet for the max out account level if every thing works fine and should join in the initial days itself.if you put more money wisely, you will get more ROI.also hit and run is the better strategy than compounding,if your account is at the max level.first priority is to break even, then take out the profits when ever you feels like.you don't need a big bunch of programs to make good money, only a small no. of good programs is enough for that case. in the case of autosurfs, what ever they claims, still they all are ponzies.i rarely looked at the adds, while surfing.for the case of Studio Traffic for eg. i used to surf each of those 50 sites within 2/3minutes.but i let it run for some more time just to get more credits.

I really appreciate your post. Being new but not uninformed in the Autosurf world I sometimes forget that they are all (some less some more) ponzis. I love gambling and investing (not always a good thing) but I'm used to losing money here and there, if an autosurf is looking good, no signs that it could go down I put more money in for a little bit then get it outta there, its all good fun!

I discovered AS last year, made alot of money with them, but have lost some too. To me it is gambling, albeit, better than lottery or casino gambling. I donot at all spend money on lottery tickets, or casino gambling. To me that is a total waste of my money. But with AS, I DO get a return on my money if I do my DD on which AS I join. Sure some will go under, but so far I am ahead and am making good money with the AS I am currently in. Plus, the sites I advertise on the AS I am in are getting good responses. I am getting paid signups for my other affiliate programs that are advertised on AS. So there are other benefits I like with AS. I have relatives that spend hundreds on casino, lottery tickets, and bingo and rarely win any money back. So to each his own.
