Thanks for responding. There is nothing new. But being a good live player and good online player is too really differnt things. The information I will share with you was put together by a third party and I am refferring it to you for your consideration.

I can only tell you the difference it has made in my online play. In fact, yesterday finished 2nd in $1000 freeroll with over 5000 players. And finished 2nd in another freeroll with 1000 players and finished 30 in $3 tourney with over 500 players. I have cashed in 3 of the last 4 Large MTT I have played in.

That's right I play a lot of freerolls and low buy ins. Why you ask. well the payouts for one. a 300 person $3 tourney with a guaranteed pool of $1000 usually pays out about $ down to 10th and first is usually over $250. The return on my money is very high. Plus it is easier to get into the money using a strong online strategy.

I believe the information that I have to share is just that strategy. When you read it and hear you will probably say to yourself that you already know that. But the real question is are you cashing in the tournaments that you play online or are you crying about the bad beats you are taking from all the terrible players and rigged poker rooms.

Well using the info I have I placed 8th and 4th and 16th in 3 separate Freerolls. The originator of the program uses what he knows and applys in much higher buy in tourneys. Not me. I am playing the ones that everyone who starts can't wait to get into. The freerolls. I have attempted to play in free rolls that only offer $200 or more in prize money with most being $1000 in prizes and $400 in prizes. My total accounts from freerolls equals $56.00 When I reach $100 I will start to buy in to some $1 MTT and continue to grow from here. I will keep you updated.

HMM and interesting question. I have used one in the past. But I no longer use them any more. I still have one that I am trying to return but for some reason the folks keep sending me mail about how good it does but I can't get them to return my emails about returning it. Oh well.

I found using it got in my way. I am much happier with a chart of starting hands in front of me and physically checking the chart each time. Pre flop I do much better by following the starting hands chart I have developed for me (of course there are many people who have input to my chart) but it is my chart and not a knock off from anyone else. I find that if I play these hands in the correct way that I have set up my rules I will do much better in the large MTTs and in the ring games and SNG. Of course it gets beat a lot also but my percentages are moving up over time which is what I expected to happen and I am winning overall and my hourly play is now just under $10 an hour playing nothing but free roll tournaments, less than $5 buy in tournaments and less than $50 NL ring games.

I hope to continue to improve this and move up in limits as time goes by but for now I am happy to slowly improve and grow my poker bankroll.

Back to the question. A good odds calculator can help but it is a tool and if used correctly can help but for now I will continue to play with out it and try to get my money back from the only one I have left.

This got to be BS... There is no secret to online poker. You cannot follow some book and win. NO one is gonna just join a poker site, follow a book and start winning like this. You have to play at the site a while, make notes on players over time. If you understand how someone plays then you can beat them. No ebook can tell you when to bluff or how much. Sure it can suggest it to you. But alot of factors go into bluffing. Like your notes on people. If you know someone is a call station and will call you all the way to the river when they have nothing but ace high or bottom pair then bluffing isnt an option.

I dont believe this and no way would I pay money for it. Someone would have to be an idiot to sit down at a 2/4 nl table without watching it a while. Unless your a really tight player and only play when you have the best of it. Thing is people wont play you. You have to have an image of loose agreesive to get called. If people know you as a bluffer, then they will call your bets. Thats how you make money in poker. Its not the cards, or some caculator, its understanding your opponet.

I would love to play with this dude. I'd beat him 9 out of ten times and then wipe my .... with his book!

Well first of all, not even the pros win ALL THE TIME. I am gonna be at the WSOP this year, and hopefully I dont get a badbeat, I can promise this tho, WHEN I go all in and get busted out, I Will get my money in when I have the best of it. I cant remember the last time I went all in in a tourney and was behind. Sure its happened online but not in real life.


So time will tell, but I just dont like to see things like "Buy this Ebook and you will never lose at online poker again" thats bs and you and I both know it.

Kenny, I say this in a vein of humor, I must have been playing you yesterday. Take a look at my blog and you will see what I mean.

All joking aside my quest to $1,000,000 in actual winnings online from $0 has been derailed this week as cards have run cold and opponents have hit everything. But that is a part of it. The same thing seems to be happening on my two most frequent sites so I may make some changes this weekend and give those sites a little bit of rest.

Well I just came out second in a $22 $2000 gaurantee tourney. Got $300 for the win. Actually I had a 4 to 1 chip lead when we got heads up, I was also the chip leader the whole final table till we got heads up. I had top 2 pair and he bet, I went all in, he called. He had a flush draw and he ended up with a straight flush. He hit a streak heads up and thats why he won.

Whats ya bank roll again? I also am like $80 ahead in SNGS today.

As of right now total bankroll is $562.83 That is taking into account a SNG I just finished. If I am able to complete about 100 hands at Titan today I will be able to add another $50 to that total, putting me over the $600 mark if I can keep from losing $11.00. I will try hard.

Doing a $400 guarantee in about an hour. $1.00 buy in and so far only about 20 entrants. But that will go up as the time gets closer but still will not have 400 player probably will just make 100 and since it is a freezeout the expected value of this tournament is very high.

Perhaps I will be playing in your SNG before long as I continue my quest to $1,000,000 but I will not be playing SNG beyond $3.00 until I get to $1,000. Which may not be very long from now.

Pretty good weekend at the tables. I finished the weekend about $250 profit.
Lost my but in a $33 and $22 buy in tourneys yesterday. BLAH. Atleast I can say I only got my money in once where I wasnt favored. That was forced action too. The blings were creeping up and I was kinda low on chips.

In the famous $55 Head Hunter. I called an allin with a call with AK. The guy who went all in had a $150 bounty. He had AQ. The other guy had KJ. So I was in good shape. Ofcourse the Q hit. BLAH.

I can look at about $200 worth of tourneys that I got screwed in this weekend so for me to still be ahead like I am, it shows that I got skills. Considering I only made like 4 final tables out of like 20 tourneys. I did cash in all but like 5 of them. Thing that hurt is that 4 out of the 5 had buy ins of over $20.

Anyways, back to the grind this week.

Thanks for checking it out. Been a tough couple of days as my last blog talked about. Lost another one that would have put me in the money in a large tournament. Was down to my last 7k in chips and on the button got JJ. When it came to me everyone had folded. I pushed all in and the SB folded and the BB which happened to be the tournament big stack called. He turned over KK. Oh well I am toast till the flop hit which was 9JT all clubs. I did not hold a club and the BB held Kc. Oh well just give him a bunch of outs and of course I am sure he will hit and sure he does on the river but not the club he hits the K to take me out.

Not a real bad beat since I was leading only after the flop but it was only about 60/40 due to the flush draw. But on the river it was about 80/20 and I still lost it. Last few days these kind of situations have been going way the other way on me.
