Right now not even 0.5 per 1k but as traffic and your site grows then it would be worth it to pay more...

Explain it a lil' bit I'm interested in how 1000 impressions will help when it's the clicks that count (isn't the place of the add more important then how many times it shows up on the 97th spot lol)

Well the more traffic the site recieves the more often your impression will be viewed by a different person. The more impressions in the system of course the less exposure but then again if your only getting lets say 10 people viewing your site a day they will be seeing your banner over and over again thus your impressions will have less effect even if they are clicked it will be by those same people.

Standard $1 for me for 1000 impressions. But it must depend on the site quality too.

It really depends on the traffic flow, the targeted audience also.
I would mind payin even $2 per 1000 impression on MMG
But i wont even want to pay $0.01 on some useless blog

well banner impressions have given me pretty useless results so 50 cents

I dont mind paying 2usd if it can bring me good traffic.
