First welcome to axlarry. Yeah, I'm sure you can make money here. I'm in the middle of my second round and happy to be able to surf again!

It some good script and terms changes that has been done. Looks very clean and straight foreward. Looks liek the "pro" version. Only two things I didn't like were that only two fixed payouts per month and 30 days before payout of ref. commision. The first means that one should time when upgrading. Since this is a 15 day program, obviously it would be best to upgrade around the 5th or the 20th. Not a big problem, but less flexible than before. The 30 days wait makes it much less interesting to promote this porgram. I don't have a problem with this, but some might have and promotion is important for a surf site.

I noticed that one has to set payment processor and the page one wnats to display in the rotation again. Both were somehow deleted from my account during the script change. Credits and upgrade, etc. were all in place. So fellow members, check your accounts if these two things are in place in your accounts, so you can get paid and have your site in the rotation.

Sorry to hear that. If you want to join autosurfs (not this one in paritcular), you should really consider getting an e-gold account. The fees are very low and almost all autosurfs accepts e-gold. Actually quite so often, I don't join programs that accepts paypal. I only joined this one because I had a good feeling about Paul, and I see it as a really good thing that the new admins decided to close that payment option. These days, it will always just be a matter of time before paypal will freeze the admin's account when they find out that it's an autosurf. That can't happen with e-gold. There an account can be blocked for more income of money, but not outgoing. So e-gold is really the way to go in my opinion. Alertpay? Don't know. Was considering, but the light of stormpay and emo, I decided to just stay with e-gold. I recon that if they have been around for ten years, they probably will stick around. I left Phoenixsurf when they started with all their debit card stuff. Fine with me if an autosurf wants to add that as an option, but not forcing members to trust their funds first to their program and then also to their payment processor. Hey, that's just too much studiotraffic for me.

That's just my opinion of course...

I'm staying with this program for the time being.

Bill, how are you going to treat the old upgrades? Mine for example says that it expires on the 26th of May but I was still credited for surfing today. Fair enough since their was 7 days where the site was down, but are those 7 days just added to the original expirery date (in my case it would mean the 2nd of june) or how? Please clarify as it is otherwise hard to how when one should/can re-upgrade. Others must be in the same situation.
Also do you allow more than one upgrade? I just got a payout from another program and don't want to wait till the present one expires.

Last thing: maybe it would be an idea to remove the option where members can change their e-gold number. In another program I'm in, Gladiatorsurf, they recently did that. They had problems with a hacker changing members' e-gold account numbers. No money were lost since they paid out to the e-gold account numbers that members upgraded with, but still it could be a potential problem.

While site admin for a change made a mistake in thinking that the program just started (well, in a way it has with new owner, so fair enough), the review is very positive:

I've been in contact with Bill over some problems with the script in regard to the old upgrades and referals. My upgrade expired prematurely and I also noticed that some of my referals mysteriously had disappeared from the list. They are on top of it and working on it. Good that Cynthia is part of the team!
Till the problems are ironed out they'll do things manually. Bill re-upgraded my account till it is fixed. That's good support!
I'll post here how it is going.

I posted this in another forum. Thought it could be of interest to people here as well in regard to the new ROI. When calculating the real ROI for an autosurf program, one has to take into consideration both the payout schedule and eventual fees. Here at DV, there is a fee for both upgrades and payouts of 4%. The ROI is therefore 18% for DV for 16 days, but the daily ROI fluctuates accordingly to the day of the month, one upgrades. Here is the part from the other forum:

With the new ROI and fee structure, the daily ROI is between 0,58% and 1,06% depending on the day one chooses to upgrade. This is calculated from notion that it will take between 17 and 31 days to be paid out in full counting from the day of deposit. If you compare this ROI to another surf I'm in, that is very popular at the moment, eDatasurf, they give between 0,97% to 1,22%, again depending on the day you upgrade and taking into account the 5% payout fee they have. In eDs the best day to upgrade is on a thursday. What date in the month the best day is with DV, depends on at what server time the admin withdraws earnings and how long it takes him to make the payout, so that I have to wait and see. So far it seems that the 4th or the 19th of the month are the best (or a few days before that).

Conclusion: yes, compared to other surfs, DV has quite a low ROI, but if one choose to upgrade at the right time of the month, the ROI is not that much lower (1,06% compared to 1,22%). Hopes this clears it up for everybody.

No, only e-gold. Origianlly it DV did, but the new owner has removed the option. Paypal has for a long time not been a good choice for autosurfs, so good that it was removed. I don't know how to change the titel line for this thread. Guess I should ask one of the mods to do it. The ROI is different as well.

Really seems that the script is in order now. I checked my account and it shows correctly the earnings, refs, etc. This program is going to rock!! Now only 6 days till next payday.
Remember guys, if you want the best ROI/day here it is these days that you should upgrade. A couple of days before paydays are the best timing. I'll get a payout from eDatasurf on Saturday, so it will be perfect timing for me....

There has been quite a heated debate over the daily ROI and the fees over at autosurfcentralcafe. A forum member was very dissatisfied, not that there is a fee of 4%, but that Bill has written on the front page that the ROI is 128% for 16 days. Taking the fees into the calculation, the ROI is 18% which gives a daily ROI of app. 1.1%.

Well, to this I can only add that everything is very clearly stated about earnings and fees in the terms/faq (which of course anybody should read before joining!) and that the daily ROI is actually real here at DV, unlike at so many other surfs. Many other surfs might not have payout fees, but instead waits 7 business days to make the payouts, e.g. Phoenixsurf while they lasted, waited 7 business days, if one didn't pay for their fasttrack option. Wiredsurf now uses the same system. That brings the daily much more down than a payout fee. One of my favorite autosurfs, eDatasurf, also have payout fees.
Here at, DV members know when they'll get paid (on the 5th and the 20th) and can plan their upgrades accourdingly to get the best possible daily ROI. As far as I can calculate without having experienced when admin calculates the earnings around paydays, a couple of days before a payday are the best time to make upgrades here.

The faq/terms are written in clear English and I myself like Bill's openness and frankness. While it might turn those away who prefer being lied to about some mysterious "offshore forex investments", well, they are free to join other programs.... At least here at DV, I'm confident that I know what I'm getting and I like it here!

Well Bill, your openness is what makes members of DV support you and will make it strong, but as you yourself say, you can't make everybody happy all the time! Keep it up!

That's the dates where it is calculated AND one is paid. Nice to be able to depend on when the money are coming. Not some "within 7 business days" here. On the 5th and the 20th. I like that!

Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men

We just made a FINAL payout to E-gold please check your e-gold
accounts.

We did an audit of the books which included the amount of upgrades on
hand, the amount of cash on hand, the anticipated earnings and an
estimate of the anticipated upgrades until the next payout scheduled for
06/20/06.

Frankly the picture was bleak.

Here is what we have done.

Any member who had already been paid more than they invested or an
amount equal to the amount they invested did not get a payment.

ALL members have been paid a minimum of what they invested.

All members have been paid to lat least break even.

12.5% of members made a profit and 87.5% of mombers broke even.

NO member lost money.

Cynthia and I feel it was not fair to continue to take people's money
when it seemed obvious that things would get worse instead of better.
