Just funded an e-gold account and want to join this service. Still have some questions. So it seems, there are about 2 signals a day. Is the stop loss problem solved? It is awful to let positions run deep in the red, believe me. Second, can anybody trade those signals without time problems, means delayed signals, exits..updates? And was June fine, all in all?

Thanks for answering,

have all a good weekend!

Everyone uses his own method of money management, I use on regular days a SL of 30 PIPS with a 30 PIPS trailing stop behind, I let the trade run as long as possible.

My trailing stop on thursday was a bit to tight (30 PIPS) i could have made more then the 171 PIPS I made if I left more room for the trade to 'breath'.

On big news days of those FED boys, I am going to use as of now a SL of 50 PIPS and 50 PIPS trailing stop behind it instead of 30 PIPS as before.

You should determine for yourself what you are willing to loose (risk) on every trade and what works best for you.

No matter how the market conditions are, make sure that you use a stop loss.

Look at my old friend NOW using trailing stops.. dancing4dh.gif good to see you read up on them and learned how to use them NOW as you can see they really do improve your trading by taking much of the stress out of an open position....

The signals are brought to you by e-mail or YahooIM, including updates.

Each signal comes with a SL and 1ste and 2nd target (exit).

Offcourse, if Henry sends a signal at 2:15 PM and you are not at the comp and get at let us say 4:30PM then logically it could be possible that the move has allready happend. On the other hand Henry has said that it could take sometimes 12-36 hours for the move to start after he has send the signal, meaning that he predicts the move well in advance Lighten.gif

Maybe wait for Henry to come and anwser this one more in detail.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I been away on a short holiday during the weekend. No access to the internet.

Okays. Let me give an example.

144.
OPEN NZD/USD LONG @ 0.5965
1st Target = 0.6005
2nd Target = Let it run till it hits +100 or you think you had enough.
Stop Loss = ur own SL or wait for signal to close
Risk Level = HIGH
SL= 0.5940

144 = Signal Number. So in case you think you missed any signals. Pls msg me .

OPEN NZD/USD LONG @ 0.5965 = This means you need to open to long on nzd/usd pair @ 0.5965 bid price.
A few pips difference in entry price is okay. As long not more than 8pips.

1st Target = 0.6005 = 1st Target is always 40 pips away from our entry point.

2nd Target = Let it run till it hits +100 or you think you had enough.
This means that for our 2nd target usually it is 100 pips target or for some cases it is best to let it run and chase the pips. Normally I will let you guys know when to exit if it goes more than 100 pips profit.

Stop Loss = ur own SL or wait for signal to close = You can put our own SL or wait for another signal which goes against this signal which means if I issue nzd/usd short means it is not going up anymore.

Risk Level = HIGH
I normally will give Medium , HIGH or HIGH RISK. Medium is normal. HIGH is slightly higher risk. HIGH RISK is VERY HIGH RISK.

SL= 0.5940 This is my recommended Stop Lost.

Hope this helps.

a couple of questions here folks...

1) whenever the signals are sent, usually how much time do you have before the entry is triggered? i.e are the signals instantaneous that you could miss out on some trades.

2) anyone here choosing to trade only selected pairs instead of all pairs?

3) does anyone use his / her preferred stop loss apart from the recommended s/l?

much appreciated and warmest regards

1)generally u have enter the trade the moment they are sent..

2)I generally trade on all of his signals.

3)I still remember signal number 113, I held -350 pips and finally closed at +45 after a week.. I can say i was lucky. But better dont take chances.

Got today my first signal. After a bit in the negative now it runs into plus.
Another good question is, hom many positions are open at maximum till either SL or target are hit? What was the highest number?
I am very happy, that my first trade seems to go well. Not even the fact, that Germany just lost to Italy makes me sad now.

Hi all,

This looks like a good service and if a week can bring in even 500 pips I'll be more than happy to pay the monthly fees.

A few questions before I proceed though:

1. If we get the signals real-time via YM, will we also be notified which trade is active? I ask because, say I log in hours after the signal, will I be warned which signal should NOT be traded (ie, cancelled or already active).

I would like to see a page where we can see ALL active positions taken by you, as well as time of activation, and the page should store signals not activated. This way we can log in any time and see which to set, cancel, or modify.

2. How exactly do I use marketiva to do the trailing stop?

3. I see there are two targets. What does this mean? Once the trade hits the first target, won't you close the position automatically? Or are you suggesting that you open two positions - one to make the first target and one to go for the second target? And since the first target is 40 pips but stop loss is 60... you need 3 wins for 2 losses just to break even... Maybe I don't understand this properly?

4. Will you also advice on how much of your portfolio should be on each position? (say do you suggest 5% or 1% of capital)?

Thanks and I hope to get an answer soon. I would PM but I don't have enough posts:)

Hi,

1) Well best is try to enter @ entry price given in the signal. I have my format which suits me and gives me the fastest way to send them which is YM. Best is you can msg me in YM and ask me directly. I do not put too much details in each signal as it will complicate things and gives me more work. Market moves fast so I need to make the signals fast too and I do trade the signals myself.

2) Marketiva do not have trailing stop. Try other brokers like northfinance.com

3) Actually only 1st Target which is +40 pips from entry. You need to set it as Target. So when the price hits it, it will auto close by your broker. 2nd Target is actually no target price, but for easier reference I have set it at +100 pips. So when you get 1 signal, you need to open 2 positions at the same price and wait.

SL is given as a recommended SL. Because here I do not know how big your account is and how big did you enter a trade. So I give SL too. If your account is big and you only use small lots, you can actually wait longer for the price to go back to our original price and direction.

4) I suggest use only up to 10% of your account on the total trades. Means maybe 1 trade can be only 1% of your margin. This is the safest way to trade. Using more than 30% will get you nervous in no time.

Sincerely

Henry

At this moment I'm also using henry's signal with a test account of $50, trading small lots of 10% with marketiva, but I do intend on upgrading my acc once I get the hang of maximizing my earnings from his signals smile.gif

How many signals a week do you give out on average?
Ubikk
I think he gives between 2 and 6 signals per day.
Today was a very good day for trading, due to the weakness of USD, so we recieved a total of 6 signals smile.gif

Fine results, you posted! But what exactly means "loss"? Came a contrary signal to that pair and you closed it, or was SL hit? Please also post, how big the loss was.

Well, 14 winner to 2 losers is sure great!

This means that the trade has hit his recommended SL, most of the times this is between 30 and 60 pips above or under the entry.

Hey, yes I think those trades went against me and HIT SL is deeper than expected. Im trying my best to take care of this thread. Give signals on YM and MSN and email and trade some managed accounts . So it does get confusing and a lot of work to do. If I did anything wrong just let me know.

Sincerely

Henry

Today was the day! I made 219 pips with Henry's signals. I'm sure others gained even more, but I am careful. Nice week, only one trade did not hit TP, but was closed with 3 pips profit.

Have a good weekend all!

I took my changes on the USD on GBP/USD, EUR/USD and USD/CHF at 2:30 AM today on NFP.

Hahaha, used buy and sell stops 30 pips above/below the current price just before the news release, I was prepared to risk 30 PIPS on those trades but the profits turned my way, hehe tongue4.gif harhar.gif

Results this week -> made a staggering 80% on my account dancing4dh.gif
