This might be funny but it is quite an easy way to remove photato skin. Watch the video for details.

Yes, interesting! Might give it a try next time.

I wonder if that works for potatoes in all seasons because the skin is quite
different with summer potatoes which only have a very thin skin.

During winter the skin gets thicker so I wonder if it still works.

Will let you all kow when I've tried.

Actually eating the skins would be very healthy as the most vitamins and trace elements are just
below the skin which when peeled are also removed.

Unfortunately the skin feels disgusting and dirty so I don't feel like eating them.

What's the difference between a photato and potatoes?

Nice and fast way to remove the skins.

Alex, for nine years now I have been trying to train potatoes to shred their own skin.

I have had some success, you must reward them when they take their skin off, a bit, like pavlovs dogs, normally I reward them with a small piece of butter, and praise them higly with terms like "sweet Potato", I cannot call them good boy, or good girl, because after 9 years I cannot tell what sex they are.

Tomorrow I will get together a group of my potato team leaders, and show them that clip, I hope that this will encourage them to undress on command, like those in the clip. I am following in the footsteps of my grandfather, who was the first man to breed bananas with zip fasteners.

Thanks for the info.
