Hi All,

Thanks to your administration here I'm able to bring some good news that may be helpful to all DXIO users. I just returned last week from Vanuatu where I spent five days, meeting each day with a senior official from GDT, and peppering him with questions. I'm happy to say that I not only got clear and lucid answers to everything I asked I also did not ever get the sense that I was being given excuses or justifications. Everything I asked about received a reply that made good business sense and also helped to enhance my understanding of what a promising business opportunity DXIO is.

One thing that really stood out was the pervasive vision of GDT wanting to provide an equal income opportunity for anyone regardless of current financial status. I was personally affected in my capitalistic outlook that has tended to embrace giving financial advantages to those who do more with their money. As our discussions continued I literally had to rein in my own thinking a bit and embrace a greater sense of fairness in my thinking about this business to appreciate GDT's intention to create a more level playing field where someone in a country to whom 100.00 is a lot of money can have the same opportunity to grow that money as someone in a country where 10,000.00 is as easy to come by as the 100.00 is in the other country.

I also came away with a greater confidence that the people at the helm know what they are doing. I came away satisfied that I could not have likely done any better, and actually think I'd probably have been more reactive in my approach were I at the helm of this big ship.

As most of you know there have been some challenges for GDT along the way, like when people were out of control compounding all DXDA every day, was taking place. I am satisfied that there was no reasonable way to predict that people would do that (though it may seem easy to spot after the fact).

Whereas there were moments before when I had my doubts I'm also satisfied that GDT has made good decisions in responding to that situation. I'm sure that will raise a few eyebrows but I've been investing in and running businesses for 34 years and think I've developed some basic understanding of what is involved in running a business (as opposed to being the one telling someone how to run their business) and it is from that perspective that I make my comments.

I'm satisfied that GDT has done a good job of prioritizing and balancing the issues that need attention. Keep in mind there are far more variables in play than most people have ever given thought to -- at least as far as I've seen expresssed on these forums.

I'm reminded of the relationship between the designer and builder of a race car and its driver who actually races the car.
There is always a balance and some trade offs that must be made in order to have a winning combination. No race car is without limitations and a driver who does not listen carefully to the engineers who built it may not be able to win races if he does not distribute the resources of the vehicle over the entire race. Also since GDT has yet to release the main services it is a lot like us drivers trying to push the vehicle to it's max, driving it to the edge and beyond it's capabilities, even before getting into the real event.

Don't get me wrong I wanted clearer and better communications from GDT whenever things were not going well. However, having spoken to them about all the main issues that have occurred, I believe their reasons for what they have done are good ones and I think anyone who heard what I have would not have too much trouble making a similar conclusion. Unfortunately I'm am not at liberty to communicate some of the things that I am now aware of and for the same reasons that GDT has restrained themselves from attempting to commuicate these issues I certainly cannot take that job either. I would encourage people to be satisfied that, despite appearances, GDT looks to me to be working more in our best interests than we are inclined to think.

On another note: If you don't find the things said here useful and encouraging please keep your complaints and arguments to yourself. I spent a good chunk of time and money (Vanuatu is not cheap) and came away encouraged. I'm sharing the knowledge I received freely here so I ask for your patience and respect in return as I share some things.

Lastly for this post... I make no guarantees about the future of GDT and I don't think anyone can. However I think there is a good team behind this business and I'd like to see it succeed because I think the right kind of ideas and people are behind it. Realize there is no other business like it and any company that is charting new territory must invent a lot of things that have not been invented before. Such things may take more time and resources than expected. You cannot invest in a new and innovative business without risk. If you find you are upset with GDT you probably risked more time or money than you should have. That is the most fundamental lesson in the school of investing and you cannot learn from it if you stay upset or negative.

Thank you,

FT

He posts most of his topics there first, and not everything gets posted to DX4ALL.

If people have not read his posts yet, it is time you did ....
there are a lot of changes coming.

FT is still in direct contact with the representatives of GDT, Inc.
