Hi I'm new to this group, and joined because people here seem adventurous to say the least. So it seemed like a better place to ask opinions on this venture.

I'm putting together (slowly) a fund or program to offer Jumbo CD rates above anything available in the US. Something like .5 - .75% above the best in the US CD rates. 5 year CD typically.

They'd be invested in solid overseas banks, but no FDIC. Yet they'd be Tax Free; at least as far as the country they'd be invested in is concerned. (Be sure and claim any interest profits you gain) unsure.gif

So, like some other kinds of investments there'd be no govt insurance program backing these CDs, but like I said they'd be invested in big banks overseas. One bank in the top 20 worldwide if its' interest rates seemed attractive at the time.

Now I've posted about this at other boards, and was severely ridiculed as a Ponzi type etc etc. Too bad, it's real and it's 'out there'.

Hardly a secret, depending on your international experiences. I don't have a website yet or anything, just a plan I'm putting together.

Considering the risks of HYIPs - which I've never been familiar with until recently, this would be mild. Except for the high initial investement and 5yr duration.

So what does Tax Free equate out to?

No fees either !
