Since they have annouced they are just an auction site this should be moved or closed. Right?

Moved to where? That's part of the problem...
We don't have an auction site section...
Can't dump all the threads into the general section.
People still post about this thing for some reason.
Not sure what to do with it but it's being talked about.

Important StormPay Policy Change:
23-Mar-2006 14:21

Dear Valued StormPay customer,

Effective immediately StormPay Inc. will no longer accept payments for sales made outside of StormPay Auctions. If you are an online seller who wishes to sell your product or service through the StormPay system, your item must be sold using the StormPay Auctions feature. Listing in the StormPay Auctions is FREE of charge unless utilizing our inexpensive upgraded listing options.

Q: Why has StormPay implemented this new policy?

A: StormPay has rendered certain policy changes to insure a safer online experience for both buyers and sellers. This policy change allows StormPay to more closely monitor the products/services sold, insuring that sold items are within StormPay’s acceptable use policies.

Under these new policy guidelines, customers may no longer log into a StormPay account for the purpose of sending money to another online user, or “offsite” website sale. All “spends” and “receives” are and only can be for the specific purchase of a user’s auction listing and successful purchase of.

Subscriptions (recurring billing) is no longer supported by the StormPay system. All current subscriptions have been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We appreciate your business. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

StormPay Inc.

Well, whatever you do with it PLEASE dont just get rid of it. However, if you DO decide to get rid of it, please give us about a weeks notice so we can all decide where we'll gather next. This issue is FAR from over and everyone who was scammed by scampay needs a place to congrigate and exchange ideas and things they've come across. Thanks

No section has ever been terminated...not that I recall right now anyway.

It's not on hold because Stormpay is no longer a processor.

It'll probably stay here for now until we can figure out what to do with it. Just like IntGold, EMO and Phoenix Dollar.

Yes, I see the problem. My thoughts were that people are still advertising the auction site and if people still see it here and not in the closed or on hold section they may still support them. We all have learned that people don't read. I just didn't want them to prosper after stealing so much money.

Or move it without any notice, max out our warning levels then change the forum rules and backdate them! tongue4.gif

On hold/scam section because it did turn scam. I've seen other processors including egold have problems, and even big problems but they are back running and doing transactions. Stormpay outright stole money, did unauthorized chargebacks, suspended thousands of accounts without notice and then changed their policy so not even a friend can send money to a friends Stormpay account. It's holding millions of dollars in frozen accounts, it made millions off of 6.9% and 3.9% pay fees and 3% deposit fees, and it made $20 for every NetIBA sold then turned around and suspended a lot of those NetIBA certified accounts when NetIBA was supposed to protect us. SCAM!!!!!! Deliberate scam, not even an accident or bad business decision.... scam scam scam.
