I use its sister site, buyandhold.com. They are great for long term holding but I wouldn't use them for anything but long term.
What stocks are you holding long term, stockbroker?
QUOTE(matrix @ Feb 3 2005, 09:57 PM) What stocks are you holding long term, stockbroker? Pfizer is one of my biggest holdings. I bought up several shares when news came out about possible health concerns with one of their drugs. It's rebounded a bit and Pfizer has a great future ahead of it.

Can I get this guy's details?
nope actually he has done better this month cause he bought up most of the oil company stocks before they announced thier 4 quarter earnings... we got 10% from one 16% from another... and thats just in the last week or so that i know about.... the guy works for Meryl lench and does this on the side for a select number of people.. thats all i can say .... i didnt throw much at him 4 years ago... but my 13,000 is a nice amount as of my last statement... i also know of a couple offline investment groups that achieve better returns than that...im just scared to get into them because i dont know the owners... well one hyip investment newsletter website list a couple who have been paying for years...when i get home i can find ya the details... these kind of deals are out thier...just gotta look for them...
it has been 20 -25% per year.. not per quarter... i see why the comments now.. im sorry i type faster than the brain works.... but i know we did pretty good the last couple weeks ....
Just wish i would of bought some martha stewart stocks in Oct.... they were like $8 a share i heard then... it is like $35 a share now and should go up some more ..... this is second info im giving ya but it came from a trusted source...
Well 20 to 25% is still really good. That's like 3 to 5 times better than bonds and most mutual funds.

25% sounds right. I can turn about 20-30% a year pretty easily, depending on the trade costs. I like to buy companies that just come off horrible news, I've bought and sold shares like worldcom that I think was about $.18 and I was able to sell out at $.24 just a few weeks later. 33% isnt bad. Would like to highlight that SB is Not Available Outside the United States or to Non-Resident Aliens QUOTE(Kenny @ Feb 4 2005, 09:17 PM) i dont like managing my stocks portfolio i have a dude who does it for me, i been getting like 20-25% a quarter for 4 years now....thats sweet hey who have you been with to get that 20 per cent plus? |
