I opened up a Wells Fargo checking account recently, mainly for online bill pay and also for e-bullion transactions. In less than a month, it was hacked into! Luckily, it was an attempt to transfer funds to another Wells Fargo account, and there is a limit that can be transfered daily. But my account was frozen for 10 business days while there is an investigation into fraud. So I have no access to the money in my account. I thought Wells Fargo was a reputable, secure bank with several business and personal account features. I am beginning to think I was wrong and I should have stayed only with my local credit union.
Anyone else have problems with Wells Fargo or do you like their service? Their support has been fine, but if it is a popular bank for hackers, maybe it should be avoided.
