Seems every few topics started in general is "I wanna run an HYIP...how?" If you have to ask you are not ready to know much less run one. Please use your money and go buy a clue.

If you're doing any of the following please do not think of opening up a HYIP:

a) Asking for advice about how to make a ponzi last forever. They don't, forget it.
b) Asking how to market your program. Why would I join a program where the admin doesn't know how to promote their own program?
c) Thinking of opening up a HYIP. In my opinion HYIPs have got to a stage where they suck big style. They used to be ok a few years back but these days all we get are sites that run for two days. If you're lucky they pay until they run out of money, if you're not they just run.

I ran a couple of old-school HYIPs (i.e. gold games) back in 2001 i.e. the good old days where you'd start up a yahoo group, advertise like crazy and get some people to play. It was fun while the money came in but it sucks when there's no more and you have to close. I wouldn't do it again and I would urge anybody contemplating the idea to just forget it. There's easier and more honest ways to earn a living online.

I see all these threads and ask people how they plan on funding payouts and they can't even answer that question...so it's obvious they're going to try to set up a ponzi.

People think they can just buy a script, get some hosting, put the site up and people will join instantly. Promotting a site and getting members in the early stages is very, very difficult.

These HYIP's..... they are like the bad dream you cant wake up from.......... enough is enough already.

Not easy to run and manage a program. Many things to take care like hosting, script programming/modification, website security, marketing, support and etc. And not to mention the whole planning to make your program sustain for a long time. People need to think twice before start any new program by their own.

I can imagine all the difficulties and details to run a HYIP program and it should be anything but easy. Also promotion will require a ton of work.

The impression I get is people think it's easy to set up and run...and they will get rich off it...not the case

Yeah and i have seen admins giving off crazy bonus and end up high and dry.

im saying not all but most, start a "I wanna run a hyip thread" to
- gain attention of their upcoming hyip
- get more post counts
- attract the "cheerleaders"(with intention of get their ref. link in the 1st post)
- to be seen as a decent/good/can-be-trusted guy.

It now seems a pre-requisite to start those kind of thread b4 starting a hyip

If you're startin a hyip or watever, just start, i dun care!!

First things first, 99.9% of all hyips/autosurfs promoted here are Games.
Since they are games , they are just like gambling, some people win, some lose, people need to get this through their heads first.


The only difference between hyips is that some admin pay out according to what they stated 80%-95%

And some dont pay at all and just take your money and leave.

The trick and the challenge lies in finding the ones who at least will keep their word.

Let me second the word Security. It's very hard to keep your site stable, free of vulnerabilities, speaking about backdoors that occur in HYIP scripts, moving to some settings in the server (If it is shared) that makes a system open to attacks. It is not only it stops when people stop paying, the problem is that hackers are watching you. And you should know every kind of injection, attacks, ddos, etc. What more, we really need a true investment plan. Not just a pyramid, the top takes the cake..the bottom takes nothing..or first come first paid!

Actually, I do not know where it is possible to invest money in offline or online business to get 100+% daily and If this exists, I will bow to you.

The ease of this game in mind, makes everyone think: "Why not? I am going to make thousands of dollars!" -- The sad fact, he is going to be.. as long as this game is not over.

Although, it's a game. and game is over some time, so I should not blame the "HYIP" itself. And If you want to invest, I won't blame you, as long as you know you can lose in some cases. To be honest, in the beginning, I thought that these investment programs really have a backup, and know where to invest money & get earnings. But by spending more time, I discover that it's a game. So welcome knowledge!

Unfortunetly their are people here (like Ahmed)who actually , even if it is just in the beginning, think that these autosurfs and HYIP's actually have real backups, and actually invest peoples money In forex, stocks, bonds, get revenues by surfing through sites etc.

Why people even beleive this for a second, is beyond me.

If it was so easy to make the tons of money that is promised in HYIP's and autosurfs, don't you think that the whole world would be doing it. If it was so easy to make the money that 12dp offered, dont you think that eveyone would quit their day jobs? If it was possible to make the 140%-200% in 1 day as HYIP's offer, do you think that StockBrokers would spend hours and hours trading shares/stocks all day long??????

Come on people for crying outloud, Just look at the sites alone. They are all the same!!!!!!! Do you think a ture buisness would have a $5 site? They would have sites that are managed by teams of professionals costing thousands of dollars.
Real sites, would have a real contact information, with an ADDRESS!With a TELEPHONE NUMBER that you can call in case of problems, Real Names of people.

Even in real trading you cant make consistantly the ROI that is promised by these sites.

All These HYIP's, AutoSurfs here are GAMES. Now I don't have any problem with these sites being games, because I understand that they are games so I am ok with it.

It's exactly like playing the lottery or going to a casino and playing the roulette table. You can win You can lose , as the commercial for the Lotto says "Hey You Never Know". (In fact your odds of making money in a HYIP are actually better then winning in the lotto)

So If you like to gamble, then go ahead, join up, deposit some money , take a chance, but remember its a gamble. Like I said the trick is finding the HYIP's, Auotsurfs, who will actually make payments, as opposed the the candya$$ out there who are pure scam, and never make a damn payment

and dun intend to ask ppl how to form a "perfect hyip" <-- this is impossible, none hyip can make every1 the winner. so accept the fact and invest what you can afford to lose.

We started our program because we were using a similar model in real life with brick and mortar sweat and dedication. It's not very difficult to sell something that someone wants to them for a better price than they can get elsewhere. On the other hand selling someone "money" for the cost of "less money" as in, an investment, can be a challenge especially if they have had bad experiences in the past. It is almost like selling someone a brand new car for less than half the price and taking the money telling them "Come back tomorrow and you can pick it up." Normally it sounds like a good deal unless they've bought dozens of new cars only to return the next day and find the dealership gone with their money. This is the sort of hurdle we are finding in running our program. It is a philosophical challenge outside of typical business transactions.

if youre gona make a SCAM then you should go shoot yourself in the knees couse hyip`s in general are scams, so as many said it, don`t make one.

That is something I agree with: early stage marketing is getting harder and harder. I remember 2 months back, even some new HYIPs would have at least 8k in them, now 8k is considered a really good HYIP.

Don't do it? Damn, I was about to start myself a HYIP. 2% for 30 days or I could've done 5% for 10 days, I would've even allowed compounding.

I'm sure it would've been the longest lasting hyip ever, back to the drawing board

NursePower Thanks for this post, I reliased that when I bought the script and tought on opening a hyip but it seems that right now I will not...May be I will change my mind in the future depends on how hyip industry will be in the coming month (which I think is an END).

I think every HYIP admin thinks their site will be the "longest lasting hyip ever"

Just have to add a point . . . .

I'm going to start getting into trading stocks (long term, and short term). I am starting out with a $1,000 start-up and am going to use SCOTTRADE.COM a friend of mine who has been going to college for 3 years to get a degree in FINANCE so he can work at a bank and make 75k a year will be helping me with the Long Term investments.

Anyways not anytime soon or anything but I want to open up a STOCK HYIP.... GoldCoders has it on there website. Anyway when I get a good amount of cash I'd like to open one up.... Accept 1k at a time
this would be safe in a account that I wouldn't touch and I'd use my money for the investing... So if I had 1k worth of investments I'd start up a 1k account and the profit I made from that account would make my STOCK value to go up I'd also pay a monthly commission to the share holders.
