I'd like to join ING Direct and fund the account via PayPal. I do have a standard savings account with my local bank that I can use to verify the 2 deposits they send for verification purposes, but I never keep any money in there, and I do not want to use it to fund the ING Direct account (in fact, the only reason I got this account was so I could become verified with PayPal). Is it possible to ONLY use PayPal to fund the ING Direct account? If not, are there any online savings accounts that allow this?

I don't think this is possible but it would be awesome. I'm in the same situation as you so I have to take money off my INGDirect account to leave at my local bank to fund my PayPal account.

Hey forglory, thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if I explained myself clearly though because it seems as though we are not in the same situation. You say that you have to take money off your ING Direct account to your local bank and then PayPal, but I want to take money off my PayPal account and move it to ING Direct. I guess if your situation is not possible mine likely isn't either though. Thanks again.

Most likely not possible my friend. I don't think PP deals with any Ecurrency at this point of time.

In regards to your ING question, you should be asking your question to ING support, as they will have an official and more elaborate answer for you.
