Got my chargebacks completed today... clapping7.gif clapping7.gif

Seems my bank are better than I give them credit for... As for SEC, 1. I'm in the UK and 2. My chargebacks were instantiated before their court order...

Are your chargebacks permanent or temporary pending investigations?

Have no idea... The funds are back in my account and I have not yet received any notification from the bank as to whether they were still investigating this or not.

But I mean I took screenshots, luckily had a copy of my most recent SP statement showing chargebacks etc, of the banned message, of the tickets I raised that were unanswered etc (You can still access your tickets even if you aren't logged in) and sent it all in...

I wrote them a three page letter and basically told the truth and proved it with the screenshots, so we'll see what happens...

I did quite similar things as u and my chargebacks are all temporary sitting in my bank account pending investigations.

I'll wait for the 60 days and c the results for my accounts.

Just keep logging in and make sure SP are doing other bogus charges... I did instruct the bank not to authorise anymore charges from SP as I would no longer be dealing them, so lets wait and see...

I cancelled my cc card that dealt with SP and asked my bank to issue a new one to me smile.gif

I received my chargeback today. $1,133.00 removed from my balance.

Screw SP and their "court order" that it is illegal to chargeback.

And I'm in the US. So the order they quoted is probably real, but not binding because if it was, I don't think the CC company would have violated it. My attorney suggested that they (my CC co.) tried repeatedly to contact SP and received the same response so many of us has...no human ever answers, mailbox full, etc. and they said to hell with it and awarded me the chargeback on the grounds SP wouldn't communicate with them.

Here's another little diddy I'm discussing with my attorney.

I removed my CC and bank info from them when all this started. After all that was done, I closed my bank account and opened a new one. Because it was fraud related, the bank (Chase) bought my new checks for me. Now every time I go into the bank, they expect an update. They are simply amazed by these goings on.

So after all the dust settled about 3 weeks ago, I requested SP terminate my account. They did.

I received info from my CC co. Friday that the investigation had ben completed and my funds had been returned to my card. Viewing my online account proved this.

I have tried a few times over the past weeks to log into my SP account and was told, as I should have been, that my account has been TERMINATED.

So just TODAY I receive the message that so many of us has received:

This is to inform you that the transaction below has resulted in a Charge Back.

StormPay, Inc. has received notification from your credit card company of a
chargeback regarding a recent funding made to your StormPay account. This action is
in violation of the terms and conditions of the StormPay User's Agreement and has
resulted in the suspension of your StormPay account.

So I try to log into my SP account, and guess what? It says my account has been SUSPENDED!

Here's my lawyer's take on it. When I requested to terminate my account, by them keeping my personal information on their system, they violated privacy laws. They retained my information ILLEGALLY. He also conceeded that because of the SEC action, they may be required by court order to NOT remove any information from their system.

His rub was that they sent me an unsolicited e-mail. I requested termination of my account. That revokes any right they have to correspond with me.

He has already sent via snail mail, on legal letterhead, to SP's ISP that they sent unsolicited spam and he requested their access to the internet be terminated. US spam law (which he quoted in the letter) was violated because they provided no link for me to remove my e-mail address.

Screw SP. Do the chargeback! Fight back in any way you can. Whether it's SP or the US government, fight back with all you've got!

Good luck to all!
