Full Version: Spam Warning - Mmg Will Never Send Spam Or Investment Suggestions
MoneyMakerGroup > MoneyMakerGroup Announcements & Discussion > Info & Announcements - Please read before you start posting

ASFx
I noticed that a few people got spam today and that spam had an @moneymakergroup.com email spoofed as the return address.

Please be aware that this spam was not sent by me or anyone at moneymakergroup.com, and I would never send out emails suggesting that you invest in some HYIP or any other program.

If you get an email that looks like it came from MMG that is suggesting that you invest in any program, please delete it.

A few of our older members can tell you that we have never sent out a single piece of spam since MMG started back in 2004.

Yes we are proud to be Member in this forum.

ASFx is a gem. He is taking care for members and not for money.

You can see there is no much ads like in other forums here. He wants Members to be free, not forced to join a program through advertisements.

I have got plenty from Hyip Info

and it is so annoying

and I really don't know how to prevent

them to enter my Gmail e-mail box thumbdown.gif

This spam problem is still continuing. I want to remind everyone again that we never have and never will send spam. If you are getting spammed with an email advertising MMG or telling you to come visit MMG, it is NOT a real email from us! Im not sure why someone would be spamming links to MMG, but it's causing people to think we are sending spam.

If you get spammed with an email containing an MMG link, please complain to the actual ISP of the sender. This means if you get spammed from an address like ffhsiuhih9zjizojx_999@yahoo.com, please report it to yahoo. Do not report it to MMG's host because they have nothing to do with it.

MMG NEVER SENDS SPAM TO ANYONE!

I got this same problem. I installed Blue security spam reporting tool and it seems to work. Lots of people using this and of course it's free. The tool supports Firefox browser and helps in reporting directly from Gmail. Check this at bluesecurity.com. Hope this mitigates your spam sufferings thumbup(1).gif

In my opinion this thread should be sticky, so new people can have easy access to it. But that just an opinion.

I agreed too. This thread should be sticky so that when people get "spam" by MMG will easily find out that it is not MMG who spammed them.

Correct Monee!

Also, any official emails would always be sent from the @moneymakergroup.com domain name. People can still spoof that address so one must still be careful. However, you can safely ignore any "official" MMG emails from any other domain name.

If anyone ever has any questions about whether MMG sent an email, you can submit a ticket at the support desk or PM me, and we will let you know if the email is authentic or not.
