Probably a stupid question but living in the UK I am just about to start using e gold! So which site is best for buying it- and then converting it to real money once you earn? A UK site would be nice if there is one...

I just used them! Now I need to send them 13 USD via wire transfer...just logged on to my bank and it seems complicated- they have all american details and in the UK the required details for sending a payment seem different...to make it simpler...any good sites converting pay pal to e gold? Then I could just fund my paypal like normal...

In my case, I get a wire charge from my own bank, and an intermediatary charge from a US bank, normally Wachovia, or Chase. normally $25, from each.

The Ice gold process is really not complicated, you make your request, print out the form, and pass it over the counter at your bank, I like their speed ( 2-12hrs), and the low fees 2%.

As Alex says the London Bullion exchange is an option. Or there is an MMG member that runs an exchange service, take a look in the payment processor section.

Today, I've been searching for a way to buy egold instantly, with my credit card and the situation so far is:

- EMO: this was the best company for this goal, but now they are in trouble and out of business
- Alertpay: Their credit card funding section is temporarily "out of order"
- Uniclear: It will take 3 business days to fund your account with credit card
- AsianPay: Credit Card deposits, for security reasons, will be in "Pending Status" for 3 working days
- Stormpay: nobody wants ScamPay's money and this site: www.emoney-exchange.net is a total scam that will place dangerous trojans on your system
- Goldex.net: they say they will accept credit cards in the "near" future
- Electrumx.com: looks like a scary scam
- goldpouchexpress.com: they say in their website: "To all new customers who would like to establish an account with their credit card we regret to inform you that this service is temporarily unavailable!"
- OffShoreMetals.com: I received a mail from them saying: "Kindly note that our offshoremetals.com website will be closed down for business for an indefinite period of time in the next few days."

...and etc etc , the same or similar with lots of companies.


So, in short, it seems like there's no %$&*^ way to fund egold instantly with credit card these days.

I did the same research and got the same results!

Despite of high demand of Credit card funding! still you can't find any reliable service to make transaction from CC and fund your EG!

Recently I discovered Cmoney!
It has incredible low fees (you should check it out yourself!)
They also have CC funding but this service will be avaialable SOON

As an update to my previous post: I registered at electrumx.com but never received a single response. So...I complained to e-gold support about electrumx.com, and they replied that electrumx is listed as registered exchanger. Well, that is for me a lil bit hard to understand, having in mind that electrumx seems to be a scam due to their un-professional web site, and lack of response.

Scam, un-professional website, dumb customer service and unprofessionalism at generally, just give the same results!
So does it really matter are they scam or not?

I used ElectrumX to fund my account, they even called me on a sat. to verify my info! I hade my aacount funded in about 36 hours!

I myself did the same thing and registered alot of programs and see if I could fund my my e-gold using a thirdparty exchanger that accepts credit card. I have registered and even registered to some that I did not notice did'nt even offer any credit card fundings.

Uniclear Back on track and now have reserves of EGold. I transferred E-Gold yesterday from Uniclear Gold account to my E-Gold account, My EGold account was funded within 7 hours . Also Funded my Uniclear Debit card within 14 hrs. I have faith in them now and really think they are going to be a Top Class Payment processor .

I wish I lived in Australia, Aussies can even fund their e-gold accounts via post-office deposits, it must be very convenient.
