Due to recent activities on some of e-gold accounts, we belive that some of them has been reported stolen or hacked. We are launching a new security system to make e-gold accounts more secure & safe. Before we can do that we will investigate all e-gold accounts to confirm their real authorized account holder identity. We will require a confirmation that your account has not been stolen or hacked. Your account has not been suspended or frozen.
To confirm your account status please do the following steps:

2- make sure that your account balance has not been changed.
3- make sure that your details has not been changed.
4- review recent transactions in your account history for any unauthorized transfer.
5- if you find any kind of suspecious activities please contact us immediatly. including the following information in your messege: your account number, your account name, unauthorized transfer date & time, batch number on the following address: investigation@e-gold.com
6- if you could not log to your account at all please contact us immediatly. including the following information in your messege: your account number, your account name, last successful login date & time on the following address access@e-gold.com
7- most probably you will not find any unauthorized transfer from your account . you don't need to take any action in this case.

N.B: We will investigate all e-gold accounts accounts before we can launch our new security system. If you find any problem in your account please
contact us immedietly to help us in our investigatins. investigation@e-gold.com
N.B: e-gold account's & e-gold services will continue normally during the invistigation time & the security update. There is no need to stop using your e-gold account during this time.

I recieved this e-mail on an account i dont have an e-gold account.

If you wana make the hacker's life misirable go in and type in anything u want in the login field a million times, dont put it any of your e-gold info.

There are a lot of scam emails going about lately. Be careful! If you use Thunderbird as your mail client, the spoof addresses show up in the status bar at the bottom when you mouse over the link. Don't be fooled.
