Full Version: Editing Your Posts To Add Your Referral Links At A Later Time

I've noticed that a new trend is for people to make a quick one word post as soon as an admin announces their program on the forum, then the person joins the program and goes back to edit their post with the referral link at a later time and tries to claim they posted their link first.

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Anyone caught doing this will get a single warning, then their posting ability will be suspended. We will know if you do it because we can see the exact time when any post edits are made.

Anyone that sees this happen should use the report button on the bottom left of the rule breaker's posts and we will deal with them immediately.

I believe that some thought should be given regarding personal referral links
signatures and cash back offers, recently all i see for the most is spam here
in one way or another and there is not much quality left in posts here.
In many threads you go to read and find tons of pages saying nothing other than
click my signature, check my offers, this is great, this is big..etc''..is this kind
of posts contribute anything to discussion over any program here?
It keeps spreading more and more and some action should be taken soon to reduce
these symptoms and make the posts once again more constructive and related to
the programs itself.

Just my personal opinion.

VERY much agree with you.

People need to help us by reporting posts like this as well. All reports are fixed as soon as possible.

What about adding a feature that you cannot edit a url link once you've already posted?

Many people just come to MMG and advertise something. If you forbid this, MMG will lose lots of members.
However, the idea of MMG is to help people dealing with internet business, I suppose smile.gif

BTW, I think it's no use in forbiding such things, because people will always adapt to the law and find the way to bypass it

Admins couldn't be able to edit their first posts to change the link blush.gif
It's unacceptable, because sometimes people just write wrong links by mistake and they won't be able to correct them later...

I want to ask if the first post of the program can be edited?
I mean if admin wants to put members ref link, can he make this ? blush.gif

I'm new here, but this all sounds good. After all, I've come here to learn. If I want commercials, I can watch TV.

Many times I've experienced this... Someone even putting in a generic ref link, found out it was not the format used for that program, and edited it afterwards, claiming they were the first ohmy.gif

BUt it doesn't matter any more I guess, as ref links are only allowed in the first post of each thread due to the recent new rule.
