Hi guys, I work as freelancer in this website since 2010 and already made more than US$4,000 and you can see my earnings in my profile https://www.elance.com/s/bafh/?rid=1TGXZ

Elance is a website where people can hire other people and people can be hired. There are a lot of jobs, admin work, and sometimes simple work of copy and paste, for example a person want a list of florists in Virginia, so you go to yellowpages and copy and paste the info into excel.

There are other areas too like Design, Writing, Marketing, Consulting, Engineering, Legal, Translation, TI Programming, etc.

At Elance you find clients, get hired and get paid.

They pay through Paypal or Wire transfer.

They have a system which guarantee payments. There are hourly payments and fixed prices. On fixed prices for example when you are hired the client fund the money to elance, and when you're finished you ask him to release the payment.

If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Here is the website link: https://www.elance.com/?rid=1TGXZ

Best regards,
babibarbara

ps:
* In 2009, Elance was selected as one of CNET's Webware 100, an award recognizing products and services that embody Web 2.0 ideals of collaboration and cloud computing.
* There are articles about Elance on USAToday.com, The Wall Street Journal Online, The New York Times, The Washington Post.

ps2: I don't know if this is the correct thread but I didn't find any other that fits. And I think this is a really good opportunity this is where I earn most of my money, and I tried a lot of other websites. The ones that worked for me were Elance and Lionbridge.

I've used Elance to find small jobs, and found that sometimes you can acquire long-term employment. There are tests for your skills to prove to potential clients/employers that you actually do have the skills they are seeking. I am currently working on a hiring post, seeking someone for a job there, and love this aspect.
