How Our TravelInsurance Works?
***************************************************************

We will launch our Travel Insurance (TI) for our SuperNova Trip. It is OPTIONAL to buy TI. You can take part in SuperNova without the need to buy TI. However, when you buy TI, and when you are unable to complete your SuperNova trip, you can avail yourself to a compensation IF you have TI in place.

We will set a deadline to close SuperNova line AFTER a set time of no activity in the line. Those with TI will have a chance to receive compensation based on their TI purchased.

Min TI cost is $10 and max TI cost is $100.
Every $10 will compensate for incomplete trip to the value of $50.

Thus
If you buy $10, you will get compensation to the value of $50
If you buy $20, you will get compensation to the value of $100
If you buy $30, you will get compensation to the value of $150
If you buy $40, you will get compensation to the value of $200
If you buy $50, you will get compensation to the value of $250
If you buy $60, you will get compensation to the value of $300
If you buy $70, you will get compensation to the value of $350
If you buy $80, you will get compensation to the value of $400
If you buy $90, you will get compensation to the value of $450
If you buy $100, you will get compensation to the value of $500

The compensation will be either of the lower of your incomplete trip fare OR the value of the compensation you buy.

Example. Mr Tourist took part in SuperNova trip for a total of $300. $180 of his trip is completed and $120 remains incomplete AFTER a fixed dealine on the trip is reached.

If Mr Tourist bought TravelInsurance of $30, then he will be compensated to the value of the lower of $150 OR his incomplete trip of $120, which in this case, he is compensated $120.

If Mr Tourist bought TravelInsurance of $20, then he will be compensated to the value of the lower of $100 OR his incomplete trip of $120, which in this case, he is compensated $100.

How are the compensation going to be paid out.

We have a TravelInsurance Pool and purchases of TI will go to the pool. We will also include a discretional % of every purchase of SuperNova into the pool. We will put our resources to utilise the pool to generate additional revenues to pay out to TI holders. There is NO fixed % per payout and there is No fixed period. We will payout either weekly or 2X a week, dependent on our movement of funds. Once the compensation value is paid out, the TI will expire and will no longer be earning.

We are working on making the TI more directly related to the positions of each trip to make them more relevant. We shall announce more info a bit later on.

For now, passengers going on our SuperNova trip can get themselves TI to ensure that in cases where they are unable to complete their trips, they will avail themselves to compensation with just a small fees on their TI.

We are also working on a strategy that will equitably close other earlier lines that are not seeing much movements and make available some insurance to convert them so they can be eligible for compensation.
