Yes, you can use chitika even if you have been banned from adsense. Chitika is worth using, definitely if you have no other form of click based advertising on your website. You can use both in conjunction with each other. So, it's not possible to say which is better than the other. I think the more ways you can monetize your site, the better. You should grow your website and approved as premium membership so that aall the ads re displayed properly or just there ad aswer-question aads on site

Chitika is a pretty decent PPC company along with bidvertiser and adbrite. The ads might not be as targeted as adsense but its still totally worth it. do your best to follow the rules set by the PPC companies to avoid getting banned just like what happened to you in Adsense.

A few tips:
Never click on your own ads.
Always try to deliver targeted traffic.
