Hello forum,

I need your help to find another way to use System Restore
to reset my pc back to its setting a week ago.

a virus somehow got in and damaged the setting and
now when i use System Restore like i did before -
start,accessories,system restore.. it don't open
system restore screen to use.

Anyone knows another way to go around this blockage
to get to system restore ?

I appreciate all for this help asap.

Have you tried safe mode?

would you please tell me steps how to use that, thanks.

.forgot to say i use Windows XP
hope it's a simple thing to do this.

I'm not geeky enough to help anyone with PC problems.

If you Google 'safe mode' you'll find loads of info.

I think you need to narrow it down to what kind of windows
operating system you are using.

Maybe someone else can give you more advice.

tried it with safe mode, used system restore in there
but dont know why the setting did not reset at all to earlier date.
there are 2 other safe mode there wonder if it'll work
