My wife and I lived in Japan for 3-years (81-84) when I was in the Navy (Worked at Starts and Stripes Newspaper. Drove from Yokota Air Base to Tokoyo everyday!). We loved Japan, and the Japanese! Want to come back and visit sometime, and see all the changes in Tokyo

im from Indonesia, although im not a japanese i once visited Japan for about 3 months, i was assigned to my head office in Kawasaki City in Miyamaedaera

i love Japan, the ppl are nice and friendly and the food was AMAZING!!! i like sashimi, sushi (especially ikura!!), okomiyaki, ramen (the best!) and many more

i wish in the future i will have the opportunity to go to Japan again

bilingualは素晴らしい能力だと思います。
翻訳で稼ぐという普通の方法もあるかと思いますが、
それではつまらないですよね。

まだ日本にさほど広まっていないプログラムを
日本人にわかるように説明し、広めていくというのも
ひとつの方法かと思いますが。

ダブルバイトって何ですか？
日本語での書き込みのことかな。

いわゆる、全角での入力がダブルバイトです。

ここで日本語使えると思わなかったので、不思議な感じです。

日本人の方もここ沢山見てるはずなのに、英語ばかりなので、ルールで規制されているのかと思ってました。
皆さん多分翻訳サイトを利用しながら、一生懸命ここ読んでると思うので、こういう場所をもっと活用すれば良いのに。。。

日本語がわかる方も多いから、ヘルプしてもらえたりすると思うんですけどね。

日本や中国の漢字の書込みになるとAlphabet
標準のSingle-Byteのメモリーでは制限がありそれ
でDouble-Byteのメモリー収容力を使うようになり
Double-Byteが漢字書込みの類義語のように使い
だされたようですね。昔はGeek だけの用語だっ
たのですが。

日本でも同じでしょうがこういったフォーラム
で書き込まれた言葉なんか俗語や用語だらけで
spellingもいいかげんですし人によっては出鱈目
なgrammarで翻訳サービズサイト等つかうと解読
多分大変でしょうね。また、その人によって冗
談を言っているのか真剣なのか分からない時が
ありますしね。

一列が２０文字(２５文字だったかな？）以上に
なると文字化けするようです。

私もここが日本人の人が気軽に書き込みが

I didn't know much about the 'ghost town' thing going on but after reading all the post in this thread excluding those post in Japanese language, you all are nothing but friendly people from another part of the world.
