You can also sell tweets, especially if you have a lot of followers. Many people on ebay advertise this. They charge like $2.95 or more for tweets. I saw one guy who had sold tweets to more than 200 people. It's easy and quite lucrative.

Do such sellers provide a way to target the tweets by category?

nandee and 0shopper made two great suggestion about how you can make money with twitter.

Regarding selling tweets there are several website which found advertiser for you

Actually there are specialized networks where publishers may promote certain links in exchance of money. This is extremely valuable for anyone with over 1000 active and real followers. Although they can be untargeted campaingns or offers.

In my opinion, 1 to 2 offers a day is more then enough.
