I have been using adsense and other ppc sites as main source of revenue now I am looking forward to clickbank. But I donot intend to buy domains just for the purpose of selling CB products. How do I market certain products. The blogger approach where we create blogs on blogspot and promote products didnt work out well for me. Do you think writing on article sites will be a good option Ezine, Goarticles etc

You can try the various article sites, however, this method too is saturated. Most of the big clickbank sellers either have large ebook review sites, or they have large opt in mailing lists.

If your planning to write for ezine articles or for other article directories you have to drive the traffic to your landing page or to your web page to capture their info. Otherwise you just wasting your time by sending your article readers direct to affiliate link. It would not produce good result either. Wish you all the best nancy

I think you should try squidoo lense, because they have a higher page ranking, you can get your web pages easily ranked by google for free massive traffic.

Simply build web pages with target keyword for your product and you will see how google will send you free traffic.

Super affiliates are the ones dominating the CB sales and they are doing it through email lists. The best way to grow an email list is to make a product of your own and put it on CB. Its a viscous cycle.

You are far better creating your own list, if you wish to use someone elses list you can do that by sending out an advert in a related ezine, make it a solo advert though and not a classified advert.

To be honest though the real money is in learning to build your own email list.

I am also a newbie and do not have a list. Relatively cheap way is to build a blog and put an aweber form on it. Just write about stuff your promoting and work on ranking your blog. It may take a little time, but you will build a list.

An easy way to make extra money!

Another little tip that may appear obvious is "Don't promote crap!". Make sure that the product you're promoting does provide real benefit to the buyer, else you'll get mainly refunds and all your efforts will be wasted.

I get slammed with CB offers everyday in my inbox. I really thing too many people are jumping on the CB bandwagon marketing a lot of garbage that they haven't the slightest idea about.

I think article marketing is the best way to draw traffic to your site because i did it some time ago with many arcle sites and the popular eazinearticles.com where am already given article expert tittle,but i must have to say here that article marketing has never given me a single sales.

I always have a lot of views to my site/affiliate links,but did not make any sale,the only sales i made on clickbank was $52 which i was not able to receive because i could not meet up with the amount to be qualified for withrawal,this only sales was by a one on one sales from a friend who already know me very well and i forced him to buy the product.I have to confess here that i forced him to buy what he cannot even use and he wasted his money.That is exactly what mostly happen with all those clickbank products and adverts..

The most important aspect of promoting clickbank product is to research the product or niche very well before deciding on the one to promote,after that you can promote by using articles and safelists and take your time to build your list. Most of the big figures they advertise on most of the products are as a result of the big list most of them already have or they partner with some super affiliates who already have big leads and list.

So many clickbank products that I bought were just useless and I lost a lot of money. You should be very carefull which product or company you use or choose. Look for the one that gives you the best support and also tells you axactly what to do step by step. Many affiliate sites also give you free hosting, look for them before you join becuase they actually do something for you.

There are alot of things working against you making money with clickbank, first is the fact that anyone who purchases a ebook can then get a refund after using it and you end up not making the money you thought you made. Second is links get lost amid cookies and other methods of stealing your sales. Basically your best bet is to have a blog premade with content related to the banner ads you place and get it traffic daily and wait for sales.

I think working with Clickbank is like working with any other affiliate site. Decide on a niche market. Do your research. Write or get a few articles written with your keywords in it and then publish the article or blog post along with your affiliate link for your Click bank product.

I agree, Clickbank is such a nice platform it's a shame. But on the plus side it's there loss. The affiliate. First off nobody buys the first visit anyways let alone sending them to a sales page so if they want to give there list garbage I don't think he/she will be in business for themselvs very long! Clickbank does have a lot of good ebooks and software programs but you have to take the time to do the research. On this page you tell people what they will get and what you can offer them. Don't try and sell something. This is only to BUILD YOUR LIST of possible customers. Give away something for free, its the best way of to lure customers. Create a opt in form on your sqeeze page and let people join for free. On aweber you can create a email list giving away some more free information.

I'm no expert on CB...but I'd say one of the best ways to really make money is with your at least one domain/hosting account!

* Dig for a niche that really, really interests you...as well as hopefully being an evergreen niche and one that opens itself to cross-sells...
* Do some extensive keyword research...really looking for those high-searched-for-keywords with little to no competition...
* Determine how well the current competition has optimized their own blogs/sites using say the free version of Traffic Travis (3)...
* Write some articles around those keywords and do some serious article marketing...
* Followed by some good blog commenting...regardless if the blogs are nofollow or dofollow...IMHO..a backlink is a backlink...plus, in the long run, if you have a nice steady of dofollow/nofollow links, it looks more 'natural' to the SE's...preferably Google!

Of course, if you can't or won't put down the money for at least a good .com and a few months of web-hosting, then try using Hub Page and/or Squidoo...important thing is to just 'test, test and test some more'...and see which platform(s) work best for you that are also the cheapest!

I agree with some of the comments that said that the problem with clickbank is the fact that people can refund the product. I've sold quite a few clickbank products and sometimes the refund rate can be as high as 75%? What's the solution? Well, I always investigate with cb-engine. I purchased the membership to get more data. They include in that data refund information (not always perfect but better than nothing). Second, I concentrate on TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC. Volume of sales offsets the refunds. Be sure to promote a product that isn't very expensive so that people who buy it won't feel as pressured to get a refund.

I'll tell you another secret. I promoted a clickbank product where close to 80% of the people asked for a refund but I still continue to make money...how? SUBSCRIPTIONS! Referring a good membership site rocks if you find the right one. I have at least two members that I referred from whom I have made $700 each.

Without a doubt, if you don't offer a QUALITY product you are doomed to failure. Quality product + Traffic = Sales. Building your list is a very important strategy as well. If you are having trouble building a list or its simply going too slow, build several niche related sites with nothing but free giveaways then build your list like I have.

Yes you can do blogs make articles and you can write in forums about your aff products and most i use are SOLO ADS(but they are payed to do so)... there so many ways to promote products from clickbank.

I think it will be a lot harder to make good money with Clickbank without a domain name. However, you don't have to get crazy. Do some research and find a category that people are searching that has a number of good products that sell well. Then buy a single domain that is related to that niche and work on advertising all the high quality products in that category. Then when you are making money with it you can move to another category and repeat the process.

I'll +1 this opinion. Why do you have to drive traffic to other site without getting the majority to your own site? Always tend to send traffics to clickbank only from your site. In this way, you are NOT required depend on clickbank completely as you maybe having your own traffic.

There are many ways to promote affiliate products. But if you start in internet marketing, you should try article submission and video submission.
