I'm just curious what advertising methods people are using other than the normal stuff like adwords, ppc, search engines, etc. I use Video Marketing a fair bit. Coupled with either a landing/squeeze page to build-up "niche" mailing lists, or alternatively if I don't have a lot of time, then I just link to a redirect url directly to the merchant (with full intention of setting up the squeeze pages and autoresponders at a later date when I have more time).
With clickbank I have been pretty successful setting up a quick wordpress blog and then writing different articles directed to that blog. Just make sure it is a well converting product so you aren't wasting your time.

As an aside: I have had 15 sales with clickbank and can't get paid because of their rule about 5 different credit cards must be used before you qualify for payment. Allabest Dick[/size] The rule of 5 different credit cards can protect legit affiliates. This limit only affect in startup of new cb affiliates and it is easy to overcome when you try to test different ways to promote cb products. If you are hardly to make sales with this limit then you should learn more of the techniques to make sales in affiliate system.

Use all the different social bookmark sites and add friends that are interested in what you are selling.

I've joined ClickBank but have had no sales as of yet; I've been with them for a few weeks and am solidly promoting a select few tools.
I'm still experimenting with niches and traffic generating techniques, so this is probably where I'm falling on my face and not gaining any sales. But I am optimistic about it's use and I can see it being a big earning when I've figured out what I want to target and how I'm going to fuel my niche's website/blog with traffic. The most effective way I've read about is by writing content articles about a product you have seen or tried & tested. A personal review is always better than a generic "buy now" page as you imbue your readers with trust, which gives them the confidence they need to part with their cash for a quality product.
To be honest, it is best to pick a niche that not alot of people are already promoting. Some of the niches that has a high gravity score are spammed in google, so much that its not even possible for someone who is just starting their niches to even try to advertise on google or any other ppc. I've joined Clickbank but before I choose a niche, I usually do my homework and research it on google first. Most of the people selling these niches are only doing it for the quick money and have never even used the product they are promoting. If you are wondering about the best method to promote your niches, follow me on my facebook fan page and i'll teach you some good and valuable tips on what and where to advertise.
I using combined methods of advertisement, mostly video and article marketing!Thats most effective I believe!
Sometimes and ppc but only if dirty cheep traffic in some niches with low cost pay per click!
Look for Trends.Find a clickbank product.Promote it using seo, bookmarking, facebook and twitter.
I'm just curious what advertising methods people are using other than the normal stuff like adwords, ppc, search engines, etc. I use all sorts of advertising, but my favourite is video marketing on youtube. I either use screen capture software like techsmith's Camtasia and record from the Sales Page of the Clickbank Product or if there is already a video on Youtube that is receiving good hits I can use Free Studio Manager that you can get from dvdvideosoft(dot)com for free. You can use the software to download a video from Youtube which you need to edit to make it unique before you upload it again to your Youtube account. I usually add a call to action at the end of the video to my sales page or squeeze page with a link in the resource box directing them. I add this call to action video with Powerpoint which can then be added onto the original video with Camtasia or if you don't have Camtasia you can also use Windows Movie Maker as a free substitute. Hope that helps I'm just curious what advertising methods people are using other than the normal stuff like adwords, ppc, search engines, etc. Social media (facebook, myspace, twitter etc)is great to get your message out about products you are promoting in a friendlier manner rather than the traditional "sales pitch" but you have to spend the time building your fans, followers friends etc to make it viable and you need to offer them some value in the form of knowledge advice or assistance etc if you want them to eventually buy from you. The other thing you can do is use hub pages and squidoo and even blogger is good. If you set up an account for each then use your article marketing to lead back to these "satellite" pages it can be a good way to boost your site ranking thus getting more traffic to your offers. Remeber to provide useful content though or you risk getting banned from these sites for being too promotional. Ultimately these are more of your long term strategies and are not that good in the short term. For that your PPC campaigns and as others have mentioned video marketing are the better ways to go. Good Luck. How would you determine what will be a good converting product? Hi. Things such as the products gravity will tell you if it is a product others have made money off but there are many other factors. I have a review on my page about Affiliate X which I have personally used which shows you easily what products are hot and "trending" and how many people are making money with them. I would admit once you have your own methods for selecting good products it becomes a little obsolete but if you are just starting out it certainly helps to get off the starting blocks. Of course you can always cancel your membership when you feel the product is no longer usefull which I have found myself doing in the past. On a personal note too, I feel like if it is a product I would use or like the feel of them there would be others who are the same and would also be inclined to buy it. ( This may not be a marketing 101 rule here but i figure if i see the value in a product then others searching for the same product would also see enough value to buy) Hope this helps you. Good Luck. As far as "Short term" results go, you recommend the PPC campaigns and video marketing? Right now i've been working on some long term strategies. Such as blogger, and article marketing. But i need a little bit of a "Self confidence" Boost to keep going. I haven't tried the PPC campaigns yet. How exactly would you go about short term success strategies? Any information helps. Thanks!
I have stopped using PPC and Adwords as it does cost so much unless you have free traffic to your site. I use linktrackr to send traffic to my sites and I would recommend to you

Well there are many things like, twitter and Facebook that get good traffic.
I advertise using several Wordpress blogs. That's worked for me in the past.
Have you tried sending solo adverts to ezine lists, basically you are using someone elses email list to promote your porduct, very good tactic and well worth using, costs money though.
Best way is to create your own email list though within the niche and sell to that. Will need to work out a) how will you drive traffic to your opt in page and B) what will you give in return for the email address and name usually a free report or e-book will do the trick
I have been promoting ClickBank products via blogs on Wordpress.com
No results. Anybody can advise? I feel it is a question of getting traffic to the blogs. I would appreciate the advise and help. Big guys always using only PPC, PPV
Article marketing is very effective and cheap way, but it can be pain in the ass. The most effective method is PPC (all big guys use PPC).

I prefer article marketing, blog marketing and forum posting. How ever i also like to do video marketing through video sharing sites like youtube. Personally i have tried and get success with blogging, Blog can be the best place to promote affiliate products.
Build a site or blog then make post about product you pick in clickback. Choose only something you have faith in because you will lose face otherwise. Remember, reputation is everything in online business. Now, make sure to write great post. Start with great story and work your product in your story, point strengths and weaknesses, dont over sell and do not lie. Tell them at the of your post that you are affiliate and you will earn commision of that sale. Thank them and provide one non affiliate link to the product's home site.

I use the Niche Ad Generator provided by the UOIS.. you get tons of Free training on how to post tons of ads worldwide!
Check it out.. go here Free Niche Ad Generator Hi, I'm using Safelists mainly. I find them the easiest to log up credits. Craigslist is a great place to advertise too.. Check out the UOIS... free training on how to post on craiglist!
I would strongly advise to get a good affiliate marketing course under your belt.
There are a couple of good ones out there but they tend to run out of value after a while. I am currently working on a fairly new course that is over delivering big time - I would actually say that I have had my small sign up fee more than covered in the first phase of training just by the material received and the fact that I made my first sale on this course within 1 day! This is not some "flash in the pan course" but genuine and targeted training by someone who has done what he is teaching. It is a private club - see below, My Very Best Regards Les Blythe
I heard about click bank but didn't know the accurate process.Well thanks for the nice post.
Greetings!!
From my experience with dealing with clickbank, is that you first have to build an email list first. Drive all of your traffic to a squeeze page so that you can build your optin list. Then you can precede to marketing your products from clickbank. The reason why I say the email method is the best is because PPC and other types of advertising is too expensive to profit from these days. Just think about it for a second. If the average cost per click is like 2.50 a click and the average conversion is 1%. Do you really think that you're going to be in the green. Now, there is cheaper ways of getting traffic, however, you will usually lose quantity and quality of the traffic. So I recommend that you spend all of your efforts building a list so that you can own that traffic. You can do some work once and get paid for it day in and day out. You can bring traffic to your site using video marketing, bum marketing, and etc. I hope that you found this useful Chris Williams http://www.iswilliamsprofits.com "Ordinary attempts gives you ordinary results"
I create niche blogs with great content and do SEO for them
Like LesBlythe said you have to read affiliate marketing guides to make you successful. The best one I read and watch so far is Affilo Blueprint its a step-by-step guide from registering a domain, hosting and up to monetizing your blog using different methods.
I do recommend this for sure, I have watch and read the guides of Affilo Blueprint 3.0 and CPA Instruments, both are a great products for to this kind of stuff like Clickbank and drive traffic to PPC Adwords. If you are new to to making money online and want to earn money through blogging then these products are a good way to start. Many had great success of Affilo Blueprint 2.0 as well as CPA Instruments you can search for it if you like to.
secrets to advertise your product on clickbank. you can go to fiverr website and hire people to promote your product. I have used this website to promote my product. Moreover i want to share with you a sofware this can make money online for you right now. Check this link http://9nl.com/quickmoneyappreview
i learned that its best to learn from someone that is already successful through a training website or training videos.
I'm just curious what advertising methods people are using other than the normal stuff like adwords, ppc, search engines, etc. I am using Video marketing and article directories. These are great and high traffic specially from article directory. It's tested. Increase my sell.
I am fairly new to promoting Clickbank products.
So far I have: -Created a squeeze page with newsletter to promote some very high converting products. -Added some products to my blogs. I have high hopes, but it's too early to tell how well I will end up doing with Clickbank. I do think it is important to check out the products you are interested in promoting and make sure that the product goes with whatever content that you are working to promote it with.
Video marketing right now is hot. Some of my best traffic comes from videos, and it seems they just sit right on the first page of google. Nice traffic. Plus people are 10 times more likely to watch a video than read an article.
I agree easywithben....it is so easy to do them now and get more traffic from them then back in the day. Just think how people enjoy the movies a whole lot more than they actual do reading books these days. Good video, great responses.
If you guys want to become super affiliates on Click Bank I recommend the HIGH TRAFFIC ACADEMY! that guys really gives some pretty awesome Technics!
