Hi again..have been reading a little bit. Say that I want to start affiliate marketing. My questions are
1. Do I need a website? Or a blog? Or anything at all? 2. If I decide not to invest any money, can I make myself an affiliate marketeer? If yes how can I do so? 3. Let say that I am doing affiliate, do I have to be a programmer to make all the advertising? 4. I want to get in action, no more reading/learning but no action whatsoever, what is my first step?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
The cheapest way to start is going to blogger and open a free account, you can learn as you go. I was like you, overwhelmed with information. There is no way you will learn everything in short time. If you like blogging is easy to start but involve a lot of work if you want to make any money. First decide what your blog is going to be about, go to blogger and register there, it is very user friendly, basically cutting and pasting, you do not need to know any html coding etc. After that, start writing, chose a subject you can talk about a lot, most successful blogger write a lot, a post a day is the minimum.
The other option to start right away, go to click bank and pick a product you can promote, and it comes with its own website, you just need to add your link. If you are not sure how to start a blog, I can put step by step guide for you, you will see how easy it is.
Good luck

The problem with the Google blog is it is a bit limited, and not as professional looking or versatile as say WordPress.
As the previous poster said though, you do need your own site or blog to join an affiliate program. The idea is to sell someone else's products for which you get paid commission on the back of your own related content.

I should start looking infos on blogging now. I think i got a topic which interests me. Let see if I can write about them . Here's what Id planned; learn how to blog in 1, 2 weeks, and then will start on how to insert the clickbank inside that.
Is that ok?

I agree, wordpress much better looking but blogger by far the simplest to use. There are problems with blogger as well, Google are known to close blog’s accounts without warning but still it is easy to start, and better to have your blog packed up, and once you are familiar with blogging you can learn about word press.

That sounds good but remember you do not need to rush anything, you will learn as you go.
Set daily tasks you wanted to achieve, and stick to them
Once you started your blog, try to update it daily
Use fresh materials, do not spam and learn about marketing your blog
Find one product at a time, you would like to promote
Clickbank does not have banners but if you registered with some companies affiliate they provide the banners for you to use in your blog.
You can use the link in your signature in the forum
Good luck

As everyone has said the most effective way to market anything is to have your own website or blog. What you want to eventually happen is have people use to reading your blog so they're more likely to see what you're promoting.
Take your time. Learn what you are doing step by step. If you try to take it all on at once you'll get overwhelmed. Don't expect to wake up in the morning, and suddenly have a million dollars. This is like anything else... it takes time, and effort to make profit.
It can be really cheap to start a website. There are decent web hosts out there that charge very little... $5/month... something like that. If you have the money to spend don't be scared of starting a website... it is always cleaner to have your own site than to use a free service and have to deal with other people's ads on your site.

In regards to a few of the comments above, I would have to agree that having a blog or personal website is a great way to start getting a following which you can then start promoting other people's products.
However, a word of caution is that if you are not more than remotely interested in your blog topic, I would say forget it entirely. To get followers and establish yourself I think the most important thing is to choose a topic that you are interested in. Even if you are not a master in it yet, a sincere level of eagerness will take you along way when things are moving slowly.
Also, if you are just getting started, may I suggest wordpress as your blog of choice. They seem to have better SEO capabilities than blogger, even though the templates are not quite as user friendly.
Good luck with your endeavors!

Good advices here! I am a new blogger myself and I use IBS (InstantBlogSubscribers) Any here using that one? Seems pretty user friendly to me (even if it is my first blog) and a good way to gain some extra $.
So, what do you think abt that one?

1. Do I need a website? Or a blog? Or anything at all?
You can be an affiliate marketer without a website/blog. There are many ways to make money online BUT having a blog is the best thing you should do. First of all, people will know who you are, then building a mailing list will be the best thing you should do, also when you apply to affiliate networks having a website is a big plus and I can write many benefits having a website.
2. If I decide not to invest any money, can I make myself an affiliate marketeer? If yes how can I do so?
Yes, in many ways. One example is article marketing.
3. Let say that I am doing affiliate, do I have to be a programmer to make all the advertising?
No. You can do it alone.
4. I want to get in action, no more reading/learning but no action whatsoever, what is my first step?
Your first step is to decide which way you will go, which way you want to make money online. There are thousand ways and if you have $5 to invest you can test make money online school. (which is in my signature).
Good luck!

Let me answer your questions....
1. Yes, but you can start with a free one. 2. Yes, I teach exactly that. 3. No way! Just as well, I'm hopeless at techie stuff. 4. Invest in the training you need. It's not hard.
