Yes, you can make a lot of money cleaning if you advertise it properly. I'll only speak about Canada and the US because I personally know a few people that do it.

You try to get contracts with commercial establishments or advertise for house calls. For example, you will clean this office building once a week for an x amount of dollars.

The cons to this type of work depends on what kind of person you are.

-Some people don't wanna clean other peoples mess and this is fully understandable because keep in mind that the cleaning will include washrooms.

-Also, if you are dealing with other business' then you have to realize that you will be probably working late night hours when the establishment is closed.

-The biggest problem some people may have with this type of work is that they are too embarrassed to tell friends/relatives that they are doing this type of work or fear of having someone they know see them!

Bottom line is that if it's done properly, YES it can be very profitable so it might be worth it to check out this website.

Yep, website is real, It does require alot of hard work, and in this biz you will need some equipment.

Well, yeah, isn't that what we all try to avoid? The past-time called J.O.B. (Just Over Broke)?

And sure, you can earn by cleaning, but it is one h*ll of a hard work, long hours and crappy times. And because of the last, you never get to spend the money, so it ends up in your bank account.

In the end, you may get to use it. If you live.

Or decide to have a life.

I have 2 jobs now
one where I sit in a office(boring)(helping out family member)
and the other I clean empty apartments for
a rental agency(Ilove it) the time passes quicklyand the money is good
and I am not embarrassed to tell people what I do because it is considered
owning my own business

Hey Paula!

With 2 jobs, when do you really have time to enjoy of the 'good money' earned from the cleaning?

Sorry to be sarcastic: my wife used to do the final cleanings in the new buildings just after the builders had gone. Sure, the money was good, but the hours were terrible. They could go on for 12-16 hours at a time to get the place cleaned in time and when she was home she was too tired to do anything.

Good part was that when she quit, we had both time and money to enjoy.

But not at the same time!

You have no reason to be embarressed smile.gif I say good for you. You have reason to be proud, working two jobs and taking care of your business thumbup(1).gif

You do have your own business as an independent contractor by doing this. I read about the commercial cleaning business a year or two ago and strongly considered it. Still may do that one day who knows. It's not like cleaning someones house, which I wouldn't consider doing.( Just my own personal preference) But if you live in a larger city you can make lots of money doing this, while having your day hours free.

Other peoples opinions don't get your bills paid anyway do they? biggrin.gif

I also have a lady that I clean for once every
two to three weeks(very light housekeeping)
she is older and a pleasure to be around
I dont know if I could clean for someone that was picky
