I find it very funny that someone would link to a blog by Patrick Pretty as a source for verifying somone else's history and credentials.

Patrick Pretty is not his real name.
He has no photo of himself on his website.
He has the WhoIs information blocked so you can't find out even elementary things about his site.
His "About" page says NOTHING about himself.

And your point is.....? Oh, by the way, is dittoteam your first name or your last name? rolleyes.gif

This should give members great concern.

The World Bank confirmed to the PP Blog this morning that a person named Andrea Lucas left its employment in December 1986, nearly 25 years ago. But Lucas was never a member of the World Bank’s board of directors, as many members of business “opportunity” known as Club Asteria have implied in online, MLM-style promotions for the firm.

As expected. Why oh why should somebody with that supposedly kind of background complicate their life with a HYIP anyway. It doesn't make sense. I knew it was fake.Maybe even the name Andrea Lucas got stolen. Happened before .

Well, in this case it didn't get stolen. She is involved with CA up to her neck. Saw a lot of videos with her and even an interview on some TV network. She is promoting CA consciously. wink.gif

Club Asteria is not a HYIP, and Andrea Lucas is really the director of Club Asteria.

You and your multiple alter ids can rant all day about it, but the truth still stands.

HOW WE CAN HELP THE PEOPLE OF JAPAN
Posted on: 17-Mar-2011
No matter who we are or where we live, when we look into the hurting eyes of the victims of Japan's earthquakes and tsunami, we see our own families, our own children and our own communities -- and know it could happen to any of us.

Always remember Club Asteria's main goal is to help end the cycle of poverty by providing relief to people that do not have the ability to help themselves. We do this as a company, but we are also a family of hundreds of thousands of individual members, all joined together in our culture of caring and giving.

Some events cause suffering on such a massive scale that the world comes together in a common cause. In times like these, we feel Club Asteria and our members should be on the front line, showing other companies and individuals the path to social responsibility and caring.

Because of the recent tragic events in Japan we are asking you, our members to join us in reaching out a helping hand once again.
Club Asteria will immediately add additional funds to our Philanthropic Foundation over the next 15 days to directly help those that have been affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Some of these donations will be earmarked to the local Red Cross, World Vision, UNICEF and Save the Children, among others.

How You Can Help

You can help by putting in a little extra effort into your Club-Asteria business over the next 15 days. We are asking you now to just use one extra hour each day to focus on the things that generate additional revenue, such as product and service sales as well as memberships:

• Purchase and sell any of our products from our e-commerce platform
• Sign up for your e-wallet and load a little extra money onto it
• Purchase a Prepaid MasterCard for yourself and your family
• Utilize our entrepreneurial education program
• Introduce people to the benefits of Club Asteria

With these additional steps we can show the world what Club Asteria and our members can do together and what we really stand for. Your will be rewarded not only emotionally and spiritually, but you will also see greater financial rewards: as you put forth the extra efforts to generate relief for the Japanese, you will generate more income for yourself.

We have confidence that our members -- even more than our company by itself -- will continue to do great things to help improve the lives of people all around the world.
Let's work together and really make a difference in this moment of human crisis.

Sincerely,
Andrea Lucas, Managing Director
All Of The Club Asteria Team & Network Directors

Oh is that so? lol What do you know about running a charity? Do you think that the rather large administrative numbers relative to the work involved with running a charity do it for free? For kicks maybe? The largest charitable organizations in the world are also some of the biggest scammers out there. While they throw numbers out at you like, "we raised 2.5 million last year for bypass research", the actual number would be more like 5.5 million.....but they gotta payout those salaries ya know? Some moron with a title like "Head of Operations" whose day consists of a few phone calls trying to get the cheapest price out of the owner of a banquet facility for his next "fundraising" event, hounding him until he finally gives in, and a few more phone calls to his "suppliers" of flowers, chair covers, and tablecloths (which he gets for free mind you) to make sure that all the colours match up, and everything is prim and proper in order to satisify his own need of feeling righteous. NEVER LEAVING THE COMFORT OF HIS CHAIR! That's worth about 150-200k a year.

Now none of this has anything to do with club asteria, but if you want to steer people towards making charitable donations, you should find out where the majority of the money goes first with some of these organizations. Down the toilet. Some of the organizations that you're steering people towards, are no better than some ponzi operator taking too much for himself and not leaving enough for the "investor".

You know, for months I've been thinking of coming to that other forum that you and a few others have made your headquarters at, to list a few organizations, including some govt organizations which can be proven to be scamming people out of their hard earned money. I came to my senses the other day though, and realized that you and your friends are no different than some blind sheep who blindly follows their shepherd because they know no better. I would be shot down in that place in a second, because YOU DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE what I would tell you. Just like you believe that the people in these hyip forums DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE what you are telling them. Spend a little more time digging up some dirt on your govt, and you'll wonder why you continue to be one of their sheep.

EDIT: Just for the record, I'm not a member of this site. You just happened to strike a nerve with me when you tried to steer people from this site that you believe to be a scam, only to introduce them to a whole new world of scams. post-36326-1110185726.gif

Congratulations! That is the point. That site lists charities and purports to investigate charities, but as always some due diligence is required by the client! Where does the money go that you give to Club Asteria? How do you know? Public charities MUST provide their form 990 (tax return) if requested. I trust that site as much as I trust some of the largest charitable organizations in North America whom I've worked with. So before you go off on another pm to me about me "not knowing how charities work", work with them yourself first, and then you can have a discussion with me about them. You post the link to that site, steering people towards it, and now you're saying that due diligence is still required by the client??? There's many things wrong with that, but I'll just point out one of them....."client"???? What client? One who donates to charitable causes is not and should never consider themselves a client! You should expect nothing in return when you give. Nothing. Not a tax receipt, not a pat on the back. Nothing. Then I would consider it charity.

What on earth does that have anything to do with where the money goes when you donate it??? Charity A is in compliance with U.S. tax regulations while they squander half the money on themselves, so they're trustworthy, but Charity B who sends ALL the money where it should go because they DONATE their time and resources to the cause, and don't need 50% of the funds for operating costs should not be trusted. post-36326-1110185726.gif If this is the way you see it, then what can I say? As well as most if not all big Charities
So, if you have not spend any of your own money, Why the heck do you give a RATS!!! $)#*( if CA is a SCAM or any of the Charities that CA is going to send funds to.

We all know that sending money to any HYPE is a CRAP SHOOT We may or may not get our money back.

And sending money to Charities we should all know that not 100% of the money is actually going to help the victims.

The world you live in must be a different colour than mine. Take your blinders off and you may actually be able to see what colour this world really is, because it sure isn't as black and white as you deem it to be.

Show's over folks.

How can you request $1.59, when the system only allows you to enter values without cents?

You try making up some smear and then you are caught lying.

Sorry, to tell you Trolls All programs on this forum and on your forum are all SCAMS!!!

But what do I know I have only worked with a few organizations within my community. I guess you Trolls know all the facts. rofl4.gif
