Is there any of you using Chitika? It is another pay per click program which seems to be used by many webmasters and bloggers to monetize their websites and blogs. The drawback is that the ads will only display to traffic coming from search engines.

I had been using chitika ads in my blogs for a couple of years now side by side with google adsense. In my experience chitika has a very low conversion and low income for my blogs. Is really very low not even 1% from my adsense income. Adsense is the best.

Is this a better alternative to Adsense???

I use chitika as well as adsense on my websites. The conversion rate is different for different sites in comparison to each other. There are other sites that you can use, but in my opinion, using adsense and chitika together is the best way to monetize with this type of advertising. Ad Brite is another site with similar advertising. I have heard a lot of people talking about it, but have never personally used it. But you may want to check it out.

I tend to agree, I have been using chitika for about a month now and still trying to work out how the payments are working out, the conversions are very low though so i'm considering changing to bidvisor, I have been told that the ads themselves are more related to your actual blog instead of random ads created from search traffic.

I have never even heard of it but I think that is really strange since not all traffic comes from search engines. What is the purpose for that? So if you advertise you site somewhere else and someone goes to your site then no ads are shown? Am I missing something? That seems like more than just a drawback if I am understanding you correctly.
