I too needed a US bank account and got all info regarding it from www.findusbank.com . It cost me about $44 but now they have reduced the price to $27.

If we talk about the same bank it has many disadntages (for example you can only make wire transfers to accounts which you own , so you cannot purchase e-gold or anything using wire transfer)

I am sure is interested to know how to get a US account.... but have anyone here tried Virtual Money? its like a US checking account and the bank they use is SouthWest Bank of Texas and I was able to get a bank verification using VM with Paypal....
