Google is so unpredictable that even if you are not doing anything wrong, you'll get your account banned in no time without explanation.... My account was created 3 months after the adsense was launched last 2003 and I think I already made thousands before Google finally took it away from me last February... My account was earning an average of $120 per day when the banning happened... They do not give consideration whether your account is old or new... until now I don't know the reason and I don't want to argue with it anymore... I gave-up...
But thanks for taking my account away from me... I became more motivated and explored the whole moneymaking thing and discovered things that are better than adsense and income that is higher... If I still have my account, I don't think I discovered these things..... Sometimes you need to give-up something to gain more.....

I am sorry to hear about that, but it's a good way to view things. What possibly happened? You made a lot of money from Adsense. Do you think Google considered $120 a day too much and they suspected invalid clicks?

I think the problem was one of my themes.. it generates real high CTR... But anyway, I don't need adsense anymore...

it happened to me as well and I still haven't found out why... my guess is that they wanted to steal my money. I haven't done anything outside their TOS

Did you do something outside of Adsense terms and conditions? That may be why, I try to stay within them to ensure my adsense doesn't get removed. I'm glad you are happily making money through CPA, although a bit of adsense income would undoubtedly be a nice side liner. I've set up a number of small blogs and websites to make additional income from Adsense, sometimes, lots of small adsense sites are better than one or two large ones. Whilst some may trickle in the cash compared to other sites, the sheer number of them make quite a tidy profit.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard this story. My adsense account was killed after just 3 months, and I was given no reason as to why. When, I appealed the decision (not knowing any better at the time) I was told my account was "detrimental" to it's network. LOL
Go figure!

I got banned and I never even had an account. When I made a blog I clicked on the Monetize your Blog link, and when I tried to get Adsense they said my account was banned. But I had never even tried to use it before! So I don't know what the problem was.

Lol! So true. It happens everywhere. They will just hit you on the face that you are banned without stating the reason or if ever they do give you a reason, it will be so generic that you'll waste hours thinking how the heck did that happen?

Avoid clicking on your own ads next time.

Whoa that's pretty messed up how they ban people like that. I've been thinking of using Adsense for my sites, but after reading this and others similar to this topic, I'm not so sure now.

You must have some nice traffic numbers to be making $100+ a day with Adsense...
You ever thought of pay per install? Edit: Hijack

Google is indeed unpredictable. I am not sure how they decide which account to ban or maybe they just do it randomly? I feel bad that they do this because they are a reputable company to start with. However even with the absence of Google Adsense you can still use PPC in the form of Chitika or Bidvertiser.
